Purposely Causing Rollbacks In Order to Regain Lost Scrolls

Ad had a DC scroll at Fare, DC were attacking Fare in an attempt to regain the scroll... after being repelled once, they'd made it back in... when some of them formed a tight ball and sat there spamming *** impulse until the server rolledback...
We've discussed this before on this forum, and even though there are those who deny this is done on purpose, it has been admitted to by the occasional honest DC player that it is in fact intentional on the part of a certain small group of DC players.
We lost the scroll at Fare due to exploiting. Straight up *** cheating.
ZOS, you NEED to get off of your complacent arses and start policing PvP or you are going to start losing subs left, right, and center.

***. There was also a group at your fc spamming healing springs... not even near the battle.
Add that to the cheaters in Fare's courtyard, huddled in a ball, spamming impulse while no one was near them... and it's clear it was intentional.
Look, I get that it probably wasn't you, Columba... but some of the players in your faction are intentionally exploiting server stability... and have been since Wabba.
When the going gets tough, (some) DC get cheating.11 -

last night i watched daggerfall covenant take over 3 keeps in a row, altho i dont like dying and i dont like loosing i have to admit the truth that all daggerfall covenant did to win those 3 castles was to use complete skill and numbers.
Not Once did i see any bat swarms or impulse or fire spamming nor anything that was not skill related performed by daggerfall covenant.
they hung tight together and used skills and used each others strengths and took those 3 castles.
they did this without spaming and without any scrolls or buffs.
Never and i mean Never! have i ever seen aldmeri dominion do that, not once not ever, and i been here since beta, early access and game launch.

They would hardly be in a rush to put out new content and not fix things that need to be fixed...

DON'T worry about new content, just fix what you already have that's up and still not working properly.
If you can't fix it, rewrite it.
This could be the best MMO ever but ZOS you guys seem hell bent on destroying it.
Think about expanding your team, and get this game moving in the direction it needs to go and that's UP not DOWN where its heading.

While I agree with you that the blame lies ultimately at the feet of Zenimax... the server's shortcomings are occasionally exploited.
No, not every rollback is caused by intent and, yes, all factions have benefitted from one time or another... but sometimes rollbacks are intentionally caused... and this time was one of them.8 -

✭Wonder how many times people see a group that just spawned at a camp and are spamming healing springs to quickly gain ultimate (because it's pretty darn effective) and automatically think they are trying to crash the server. Not saying that this was the case in this instance.... just saying
Fortunately being oceanic DC I really don't get to see the numbers of people required to actually cause these rollbacks, whenever I have tried jumping in during NA prime time the lag on a moderate keep siege is just too much to even try and bother with.

The reality is that ZOS have made a game that has roll backs that are constant, not a common occurrence but constant nonetheless. It's no one factions fault but ZOS.
Sounds to me like you lost a scroll, are annoyed and have come to the forums to gain support/whinge about it. I can tell you from personal experience I've had roll backs that have lost my faction a scroll and roll backs that have gained my faction a scroll.

How about instead of assigning blame, like children, we do the right thing and report the knuckleheads exploiting?

If the rollbacks were constant game wide how come they don't happen in PvE areas? Why is there a pattern to the rollbacks?

This has been said since release. They have lost subs left and right. I do not see pvp population bouncing back if they still haven't shown any interest in pvp since release.

✭PvP is still healthy though, I see plenty of people complaining about (including myself) and will continue to complain about it, but they are all still playing.
Weird, maybe it's not as bad as the naysayers would suggest.
Lag is awful sometimes, crashes have got better, but then they needed to be as they were awful and common. Camps need a review, plenty of good suggestions and threads made about camps before so I wont harp on about that. And of all things, ZOS need to fix a few terrain issues near gates, and stop scrolls being picked up without the gates being opened by taking the relevant keeps.
IF ZOS just did those things, the state of PvP would be oh-so much better.Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...2 -
