Calling The Videographers Out -- A Challenge

There have been numerous threads about various videographers out there all trying to show how awesome you are.

I get it. We all get it. You're a badass.

But many of those videos are edited to heck and gone. Short clips of pure awesome and then away to the next fight.

You know what? Show me your ego is made of stainless steel. That nothing can embarass you because you know how good of a player you are.

Show me the blooper reels.

Show me every embarassing, godawful death you've had in PVP you have on tape. Every time you had your map out and got sniped, every time you were on horseback with speed and went over a cliff, every time you just got beat.

How about as compromise, I'll just show the full clip of my pvp adventure, from start until death.

I really want to just see anything that's a change of pace from the 'lookit how awesome I am' crowd.

And really, don't we learn more from our failures than our successes? Having deaths immortalized in video will allow people to review, see how NOT to do things, and learn from them.

I have a hot key for recordings so I don't have any recorded bloopers. But I'll keep what you said in mind and try to put together something.

But I do livestream 3-4 times per week for everyone to see. Like the fellow above me said, you can't edit live footage.

I did die to a stone treb of all things last night though while dropping down to a breach. Wish I'd been recording that one.

Or you can just do what I do and never fraps. No real point to it, and it can slow your performance down in this game (as buggy as it is)

I wish I had a clip of the day Hova caught me with a destructive clench right off the top of alessia bridge, 100 foot drop to my demise.

Probably the most embarassing death ever, considering it was totally my fault for standing on the edge.

My recording software doesn't slow my performance at all. I sometimes will go hours recording and not even notice until my hard drive is full (storage drive) and it shuts off.

I wish I recorded a group of us following our leader straight into the river with deadly fish...... we all died like 20 of us. We all lol'd. That would have been great.

He was like "get on crown. Follow me!!" Then we all plunge in to our deaths....too funny.

I've been intending to do this for a while, a vid montage of me getting totally destroyed in the most humiliating ways. I just feel the yin/yang need to balance out the massive egos in this forum otherwise something catastrophic will happen with the universe.

Haven't got around to installing and learning the software though. It's never occurred to me before to record myself playing computer games.

There was one instance that stuck in my mind that would have been a great addition. I saw a blob of reds, so thought I've give them some of my sap tank. I ambushed in and laid my veil, but before I could block, I got destructive clenched out of my veil and destroyed in a split second. That's entertaining stuff. Not all this 1v100000 omg I'm awesome. You're not awesome, you're just a DK!

I've found running iTunes causes a bigger perfomance hit than shadowplay.
