Just did my first crafting writ on the test server. Nice results. One of the results was a gain in "inspiration".
Huh? I mean, it was cool, but it didn't inspire me much at all. And shouldn't *I* be the one to decide if *I* was inspired?
Kidding aside, WT* is "inspiration"? My toon is a level VR12/Vamp10/Blacksmithing50 toon. Is inspiration merely a fancy word for "crafting experience" and if so does that mean the new crafting writs are giving something I can't use if I have maxxed out crafting?
I mean, I got back pretty much all the voidstone ore I consumed for the writ, and few enhanced nirnstones (beware kids--looks like our armor and wep enhancements are about to start life tiered some better than others from the get-go!), but it didn't seem like that big a deal.

Ysne58✭✭✭✭✭Inspiration is for crafting what exp is for other skills. So yes, if you have maxed out the craft, the inspiration won't do you any good. However, the other rewards, a small amount of experience and gold... might be worth it.1 -

d.crosgrove_ESO✭✭✭Alchemy writ was.. disappointing. The map took me forever to locate, and it yielded about 8 lush plants. Lush plants yield two items instead of one. If I had spent the same amount of time wandering around as I did trying to find the map location, I would have had a LOT more alchemy mats.
Enchanting writ yielded no map, just a enchantment a smidgen better than I had created and 3 grand Soul gems. The inspiration yield was decent though, and god knows for enchanting, every little bit helps.
Wonder what the jewelry writs will be like...1
