Forgive the length, my fellow ESO gamers, but I feel this is something that needs to be addressed. It is clear that Zenimax sooner censors and moderates the forums of people who are legitimately trying to help – and have been driven to wits end – over actually doing something to improve the game and the experience of those who are playing. This is not in regards to skill lines, or classes. This is in regards to exploits in combat. This is in regards the deliberate and malicious abuse of an in-game mechanic that is destroying the PVP experience of so many through the actions of one, and he is still here.
I will state, in brief, what spurred this thread. I made a thread that made demands of Zenimax in regards to their persistent inactivity of someone who is hindering the game experiences of many others in Cyrodiil. This is despite the numerous reports they are inundated with. Rather than actually doing something about it, Zenimax would prefer to delete my thread because if violated their Terms of Service for the forum under the category of ‘Making Demands of Zenimax’. Whilst I admit that the thread did violate the terms of service, this gives rise to a concerning issue; what does the Zenimax staff care about? The integrity of their forum? Or the success of their game?
Is the subscription of a single member worth the people he is making unsubscribe?
Are the people who are driven to hair-pulling frustration over him, people who want to help, people whose voices are being silenced, worth less to Zenimax than a single, confirmed subscription of someone who griefs other players?
Were it but a matter of putting him on ignore, it would be entirely different. But one single person can hinder the play experience of hundreds of others through an existing game mechanic. If Zenimax thinks increasing the Alliance level rank needed to gain camps helps anything, it only demonstrates how vastly out of touch Zenimax is with how their game is being played. We’ve had plenty of time in this game, Zeni. Level 6 is easily acquired. It is, once again, treating the symptom, not the cause. A bandaid on a spraying artery.
I have taken the time to read, in full, the Terms of Service of these forums several times, I have also ensured that this forum post does not violate any of them. I am not making demands of them. I am not swearing, not abusing anyone. I am not naming and shaming any member of the community, or any member of Zenimax staff. Nor am I actually discussing the disciplinary action that was undertaken by the forum staff. I am merely wishing to discuss the implications of the action, not the action itself. What I am discussing here is the predilection of Zenimax staff to uphold the minutiae of their forum conduct, whilst blatantly ignoring the fact that those violations are deliberate choices of members, and their inactivity is a deliberate choice on behalf of Zenimax.
Moreover, the fact that numerous posts, and threads, exist that violates the terms of service (such as spam posts, derailing posts, etcetera etcetera) and are left untouched, but the thread I created was deleted within a day shows where the disciplinary priority lies.
If Zenimax interprets my desire for transparency with the rest of the ESO community as trying to discuss the disciplinary action, then I cannot stop them.
I want to play this game. I love this game. I want to keep giving you the money I need to continue in this game. I can tolerate (barely) the bugs and glitches of PVP. I can (somewhat) tolerate the changes you are making to this game to privilege the zerg. But on this one issue, on players who are actively and deliberately destroying the game experience, I want to speak. And Zenimax would rather silence me.
My question is then: if we are paying customers, why can we not hold Zenimax accountable for their actions? They are in a position of authority on these forums, and they are essentially the people we are paying for a continued service. So why can we not discuss with them what THEY do in terms of disciplinary action, and the manner in which they prioritise this action.
But if this thread disappears, let it be known to the community where your priorities lie. And if I am banned, so be it. I deem it worth the risk of being removed to inform the community of what happens when you speak out against those who are damaging the game experiences of others, especially if it tries to hold Zenimax accountable for their actions. Or inaction.
And if this thread gets me banned, fare the well, my fellow ESO gamers, and know what Zenimax priorities.

She wont. She will just complain and not do anything.

It's not outdated. The term is just classified under video game slang. I also recommend urbandictionary.com over dictionary.com with how people like to talk these days. You will most likely be updated with the world a lot better with this suggestion. It's our fault for using an outdated understanding of the word exploit. We should be using this connotation from now on.
Exploit. - a striking or notable deed; feat; spirited or heroic act: (dictionary.com)

Kinda hard to support something if I have no idea what it is.
