In addition, F&D needs to be labeled with the name of its creator. My toon Yancius is just as proud of his provisioning products as my alts are of their creations. If Yancina, Yanandra Carolina, and Yahatma Yahndi can have their wares named why not the cook?
My guess is that this may might actually make those that purchase provisions unhappy, as the how would stacking of the same item from different crafters work? Same issue for potions. I think those other craft items don't stack, so it isn't an issue.

Have they fixed the issue with the pasties so we can finally wear them now?

just to edit, although V5 drink is listed to add 8 to all stat, it actually adds 10-11 for my health and magicka regen.

There must be something wrong, the listed effect of the food and drink is somewhat off from the real effects. I updated the OP to mention this.

Good buff to see - curious if drinks are also increased, for regen rates???

no it wasn't, v5 purple drink still adds 8 for each regen.

This is why drinks will continue to be unconsumed. If the regen rates were quadrupled or even quintupled, then players might start using them.
This. It's why I've maxed out my chef passive but haven't used any skill points in the brewer passive. So I can use one set of ingredients for a purple food recipe, of which at least one is exceedingly rare (*cough* tomatoes), and get 4 servings. Why would I brew anything?

Still, I've been saving the rare brewing ingredients in case it ever does become viable. Stacking a food and drink would be awesome, especially if the drinks got a boost in what they did.

I personally would love to see this increase to stamina, health and magicka when using purple recipes, I have a lot of consummate honey brittle and I have a ton of ingredients to make more :D .

:o They seem bit OP to be honest...

it does make sense though, the health/magicka/stamina softcaps are pretty high, current food doesn't give most people any realistic chance to get to 2+ softcaps.

Now the potion is very good, restores over 1000 points health.

It's very easy to hit the soft caps in 2 attribute stat categories. The pot restoration is indeed interesting but from a pvp perspective this isn't a good change.

Food is certainly your best bet when going up against bosses and other single enemies. However if dealing with multiple sets of lower level mobs while dungeon crawling I prefer to use a good purple drink. You will not make a good group member if everyone else has to wait for you to regen between every fight.

Well, maybe it's time for pvper to take a step back and consider those who don't pvp often?

In this game, PvP and pve have to coexist since there are no restrictions regarding what you can bring into Cyrodil or bring out of Cyrodil. That's why I had mentioned my statement from a PvP perspective. There's no need to spew your corrosive venom on the folks that enjoy PvP.

The only thing in the 1.5 PTS patch notes about food has to do with fishy sticks.. so this must be a bug. The 1.5 notes say nothing about changing food, much less finally implementing the provisioning overhaul they hyped up a couple months ago.

Lol, coexistence! As if pvper didn't get all the changes they cried about at the expense of others. Some guts you have there.

Will have to see, but this would not be the first time they post incomplete patch note.

Food and drink really need to stack. Also, provisioning progression is far to quick and easy. I hit lvl 50 within a week. My enchanter alt? Still stuck at lvl 22.

its not provisioning too fast, its enchanting too slow, alchemy is also very fast, WW/BS/CLO is also quick if you just decon stuff.

They have doubled the speed of enchanting, so it is better now, but still quite slow.
Alchemy and Provisioning are equally quick; the big difference is that its really easy to get ingredients for provisioning at early levels. In fact I "accidently" leveled provisioning to like 25 to clean out inventory and then noticed it was actually useful. Alchemy ingredients are not rare by any stretch of the imagination but it did take effort to find them.

Enchanting is still very slow because glyphs don't drop very often so ZoS wants to force you into deconstructing other peoples; not necessarily bad but its yet another thing to deal with. Runes themselves have the same as alchemy ingredients - except you have to have one of each type and that slows you down as well. It also seems to me if I create a potion and a rune at a comparable level; my alchemy skills go up much more. This should not happen or should be much less a difference.

If PvP is not balanced but PvE is balanced then there is further work to be done. Same applies vice versa.

Don't blame the PvP community for this. Blame ZOS. Not sure why you're so volcanic.

I'm going to assume it is something similar to parts of the justice system sneaking in to 1.5 on PTS and we will eventually be seeing these new higher food values in future updates.
