Bolt escape and morphs?

Is it supposed to be able to be used while rooted? I mean talons and all roots should stop them from teleporting.

Back in Auriel's Bow 1.0, I have thought that the best way to handicap a faction with the HUGE pop advantage is to temporarily disable their grouping functionality and their ability to fight in 3rd person point of view! Let's see if these do not even up the odds.1 -

✭By counter, I mean a way to catch someone who has saved enough magicka for a few bolt escapes. (you and I know this is not hard to do) There is no way to catch one unless you can follow with bolt escape, just try it. The best some can do is try to get the kill before they're out of range.
That said, I wouldn't want bolt escape nerfed in any way, but it would be cool to have some way other players could give chase. (or stop but that would count as a nerf imo) Maybe spell crafting will have something.Edited by Domander on October 14, 2014 6:13AM0 -

Sorcerers are targettable right before they bolt escape, when they are casting it. Teleport strike, shield charge and any other targettable charge or leap ability will follow them when they appear out of bolt escape.
Sorcerers also pick up any ground effects they bolt escape through. For example, a sorc without immovable that bolt escapes through a fire run will get knocked up, or through daedric mines will be snared.Venatus1 -

Tuttebel✭✭✭But, what about the poor sorcerors who use it in an offensive way? Streaking in to stun a few in a zerg? Annoy the rest by stacking shields and executing the low health target in the back and streak out again. Maybe a few will follow me with foam on their lips because "Erhmagerd, he can't get away with this".
And you can bet I streak out in the direction my guildies are waiting for a few easy points.

Yes, but I find they can BE faster than I can Explosive Charge. So, each time I use it, they get a little further out of range cause they're bolting before I actually reach them.
