-If you happen to be attacking when you click to transform you get stuck in this position and can only move at snail speed and you dont transform:

However the models don't look rotted. So are they undead or something else?

The one on the loading screen is probably an undead werewolf...
If you've done the Glenumbra content, you'll know who that is supposed to be.2 -
