True; but we know 1.5 is hitting the PTS this week. It could be down right now so that the ZOS QA team can perform their review of the allegedly large update. It could also be that the extended downtime is needed to iron out kinks with the character copy process or with other database intensive activities that are best tested in isolation. Or any number of reasons could explain the current downtime.
I am of the opinion that 1.5 will be on it once it does become accessible again.0 -

I have yet to see such a post. And given that the server is unlikely to be up again within the next hours, I wouldn't expect it for quite som time.

It's actually coming... right now!Update 5 is coming to the PTS on Thursday of this week, this was confirmed by Jessica on Friday's livestream. The reason the PTS is down is to prepare for Update 5 (There are 37 pages of patch notes, after all!)

I would expect that the PTS is now open for testing at least until mid November but I could be wrong. 1.6 is scheduled for 2015 or am I wrong with that @ZOS_GinaBruno1 -

✭✭I would recommend anyone who got suckered into trying the PTS, to uninstall it again. You download a huge update, and then discover that NIT A SINGLE TEMPLATE works!! Nice up-yours, Zenimax, now we're gonna give you one in return by boycotting your PTS until you hire a QA team!!2 -

Well 6 weeks from last update would be October 27th. Putting 1.6 at December 8th. So yeah probably about a week of testing before they take it down and start pushing patches and fixes that we don't get to test. That is why i keep saying they need to put it up as soon as the other one goes live whether everything is finished or not.0 -
