So yes, I'd ALSO like to see small pets that you can "wear" maybe by putting them in the costume slot? But then that might interfere with wearing the cool costumes I HOPE they are going to eventually give us as social clothes. Ideas on how to implement "wearable" pets and what besides snakes? AoC ALSO had a spider and a scorpion...which was cool but far too much "EEK!" factor for me! LOL

That's... actually pretty cool. If only I wasn't filled with a seething hatred for everything Funcom's touched...

I completely share your utter loathing of Funcom...or FuncoN as I came to call them. After what they did to AoC I refused to ever give them another penny for another game. This despite the fact that I really WANTED to try Secret World. But I didn't and I'm perversely glad I didn't. NO PEACE until they fire Craig and bring back the RP server!

Well, here's what you missed... some decent writing from the team early on that wasn't quite as smart as it thought it was, followed by handing everything over to Bylos. Bylos was in the, "I am the one true artiste" mode. And was pushing content that required you to grind the group content or group up with buddies if you wanted to clear it. With a massive push for swarm content (40+ players spamming their basic builder attacks and nothing else for 5 minutes) as "seasonal events" along with raids that allowed players to just screw off and troll while everyone else did the work. By the time I left, it had gotten to the point where the new "single player" content wasn't actually doable in solo. Such as forcing the team or "solo player" to split up and defend different sites at the same time. And, then they slapped a necessary progression system behind a paywall.

Well, if true, that's just lame. :P

It's true, the big clue is in the name, VANITY PETS they are a vanity not a useful thing.
And yes they are kind of lame, even the few that look good (that's in any game).

I think we should have real vanity pets - like a barber. Something that can cut and style your hair for you, maybe do a mani \ pedi while you're waiting for a world boss to spawn. Maybe get a nice cucumber facial just before your big confrontation with Molag Baal. After all, if he sees lines under your eyes, he might think you were up all night worrying about that fight.

So we can't encourage ESO to do better?
Could I punt your dog off a bridge then?
