I disagree. Not on the subject of flying mounts, but on the idea of, "accept the game as it is."
Why shouldn't we present, and discuss, ideas to help the game progress and move beyond what it is? Granted this has been brought up before, but please be mindful of what you say and how you say it. It'd be more of a pity to accept the game as it is.

Flying would only serve to scale the world down. Plus it doesn't reflect the lore.
