Costumes, signs of position and clothing. Small note of ideas.

Snall ideas id like to present. just a short note :D

-Both weapon sets should be visible if we want them to be.
-Costume slot only for quest costumes

Costume slot would also be good for event costumes, costumes they might sell in real money store on the future. Generally for looks that are premade for eact looks, costumes that need more "control" over them and such

-There should be separate slot for heraldry/tabard
-For other stuff, there should be "Emblem" slot

Emblem slot would be for indications of position or title. Consisting of medals, sashes and other such small stuff that naturally indicates
position of person.

-Clothing and armor looks to separate system.

Clothing, armor mixing and cosmetic looks should be on separate system that dictates the looks of a character. You could be able to mix any part of equipment to make a cosmetic outfit of your own choice that fits your character. You would have tabs for couple of different equipment sets that dictate how your character looks which do not affect any stats at all. there would be checkboxes for all pieces of equipment exept legpieces with what you could hide or show individual parts of equipment. There should also be a "Wardrobe" type of bank where you could store your equipment pieces you use in your costumes. All your costumes would draw looks of your equipment from this bank slot, much like crafting mats are drawn from bank, this way you would not need to carry any piece of your cosmetic equipment with you. "Wardrobe" would have smaller account wide part and large character only tab.

Much like the system in LOTRO (Lor of the rings online)

    Costumes go in the Disguise slot.

    Emblem slot wouldn't work, because apart from the military (of which we are not part) there are no indicators of rank. Well apart from rich people wearing better clothes (which still isn't rank, a rich commoner would look better than an impoverished Duke, despite being outranked).

    A seperate Tabard could work, provided it doesn't interfere with anything else.

    For sure everything would work if made to work.

    First of all, there is no disguise slot, there is costume slot where cpostumes go. That is a fact.

    Emblems and such would work for all areas that have ranks like military, justice carl, or any other such position that exists or does not yet exist.

    Tabard slot allready works as cosume slot, only possible way that separate tabard slot would interfere with something is clipping issues which in my opinion are acceptable if they are small.

    All stuff i wrote is basically improvement or expansion of current system to the direction i would like it.

    You cannot have both weapon sets show if, for instance, you are a staff and bow user. Both go on your back and therefore will not work together. Not sure what coding would be required to make a staff and daggers both show at the same time. But hte problem is that it simply won't work for a lot of combos.

    I think they would work and only problem would be clipping issues. how to code it... Well they both show allready at times when weapon swap system lags so they actually can be seen at the same time at least and the graphics fit to the body.

    I think it would need a rweaking of caching weapons on weapons swap system or something like that.

    Clipping issues.. People get concerned a bit too much in this case i think. I mean when system like this is optional and player can choose to turn it on or off... There is no real issue then since player can choose when to show and when not, similar to hide helm option.

    Actually i think having both weapon sets visible would make weapon swap more reliable since then the system will not need to fetch weapon graphics for other slot from the cache memory as they are allready loaded then.
