Health bar bug in PVP?

Ok so I use recount to track my damage. I do lethal arrow...when i hit hte guy it say it does 1000-1200 dmage...yet the persons health bar moves what appear to be 10%...do they have 10,000 Health or?!!?

most people should have about 2K - 3K health in normal campaigns. So if you're hitting for 1200 damage, they should have at least 800 health left.

Seems like your just doing it wrong. On my NB I don't even need a damage counter or health bar. They are dead by the 3rd shot if they had buffs.

This is too vague as there could be plenty of reasons why you only see a decrease of approx 10% health.

Can you give us a better description of the situation when you saw that happening?

the most obvious answer might be: they have shield(s) up - so their healthbar only moves 10%, because the other 90% of your damage was eaten by the shield-spell

edit for clarification: assume a 1000 HP damage shield, you do a reported 1200 hit --> they only loose 200 HP of health, which for most players is much less then 10% of their healthpool. Of course, your NEXT 1200 hit shoudl really hurt them, unless they managed to reaply their shield in time (which decent players will)

Yeah thats what i was thinking....that shield crap is such BS...why dont NBs get a shield?

Probably this. I also believe you can't crit a shield? May be wrong on that though, but it seems that way.
