Can some dungeon bosses see through stealth?

I've been trying to solo a boss in Volenfell on which my Nightblade's Shadowy Disguise has no effect at all (no cancellation of attacks and he's coming straight at me all the time); guards in Cyrodill don't seemed to be affected either (some bosses do seem to be affected by Shadowy Disguise including another in Volenfell).
When you've built a stealth based character this is a bit of a handicap especially when you don't know whether the skill will actually effect a MOB.

Curious to see what people say. I am tired of running dungeons with a group only to have to yell out that I can't drop aggro because my invisibility doesn't work on the boss. 0 -
Kalman✭✭✭✭Try invs pots from alch. Then you know if skill is messed up or those bosses just ignore invs.2 -
GrimMauKin✭✭✭✭Stealth and Shadowy disguise is pretty badly broken at the moment and fairly erratic but I'm certain that this guy completely ignores it (I've always had the same issue with Storm Atronachs). Honour Guard in Cyrodil also ignore stealth but apparently this is by design.

GreyRanger✭✭✭It is hard answer since stealth and shadow cloak are so bugged. It does seem to me that some bosses see through invisibility by design and in other cases it is as if stealth/shadow cloak just breaks for no clear reason. The breaking happens with bosses and normal MOBs, so it is hard to know.0
