Oh, I've always been on the darkside. Ther only reason I was gonna go enforcer was so I could hunt people. I'm not even sure if I'm gonna steal. I have way more gold than I need(no you can't have any). It's time for Wayrest to have a Jack the Ripper... Man I hope vamps can feed on NPCs in town... No, you can flag yourself as a none participant. To my understanding, if you do that, you won't be able to be hit or steal or really do anything that would get you killed in town.So we will have to endure zerg fests of impulse spamming, VR14 DK's / Sorcerors in PvE as well as PvP? ). Bandit lair raids sound fun. Then after a week I'll get tired of outlaw bands wiping the floor with me and quit. I don't PvP anyway, normally this content would be of no use to me, but since it's all we'll be getting and the Thieves Guild is still far, far away... ✭We're going to cleanup Tamriel when this comes out! I know, it's a vague statement with regards to how we'll clean it. Could go both ways.
However, enforcer sounds more fun to me even though as a theif I think you can 'generate' more pvp action by intentionally flagging yourself as one and fighting all the good guys who dare to take you on. I think I'll still take the enforcer role, stealing isn't really my thing.1 -

✭✭I do play PvP but I won't be participating for another reason (comment)I doubt I will participate when it launches, there are so many ways they could screw it up and make it a griefing engine.
Once they have finished patching it up I'll lean towards enforcement but in a perfect world I'd like to do both... I would like it if you could still be a criminal and wear the uniform between 'jobs'. Basically if you can commit a crime without being busted you could then simply return to enforcing, if you got busted you'd not be able to enforce for a few game days until you had cleared your name/debt.
Since I have no intention of murdering npcs or any real desire to fight my alliance comrades the option to be truly stealthy around criminal acts and be rewarded for it would be cool. Think Dishonoured....Edited by Tavore1138 on October 10, 2014 10:39AMGM - Malazan

You missed my point, which was - The justice system will result in zerg fests in the PvE areas. AFAIAC this will result in griefing of some kind.
Also, one only participates by stealing. There is no "participate" flag because (much as a small number of "players" would like it) it is not open world PvP..........YET. It's just the thin end of the wedge.

If it's too griefy, I won't touch it.
If it's too full of terrain glitch/run through houses and exploit load screens type of crap, no way.
If it's a rediculous level discrepancy gankfest, I'm not really interested.
Essentially, if it's the stuff that other games turn their "PvP servers" into, I'm just not into it.
If Templar DPS and DragonKnight survivability doesn't get some measure of adjustment, it'll be pointless for me to participate anyway because I already can't dent them unless I have a purpose built skill bar set up to handle them---better to go to Cyrodil where I can at least pump out sweet HPS to the glee of the guys standing under the oil.2 -

They are thieves, stealing from your faction. Outlaws, bandits, ne'er do wells.
Logically, do you let the dregs of society run rampant in your society, or do you weed them out so that everyone else can live peacefully?
Just because they live in your faction's lands does not mean they are on your side.
Or should we just be like: "Well, you're a criminal and murderer who ruins the lives of our innocent citizens and destroys their livelihoods, but I see you come from Daggerfall... so it's all good!"
I'm not sure what logic you're following, but my logic tells me that criminals should be punished.
I'm pretty sure that the Nords I made in Skyrim weren't cut any slack when murdering people in town just for being from Skyrim originally.3 -
