Those kinds of statements are indeed pretty much garbage but I don't think they're limited to AD on Haderus.

And by the way, if anybody from EP deserves to be emperor on Haderus it would be Vortexman. He has been more than a worthy opponent and has put as much time and effort into the campaign as any EP player.

I believe it. Read the thread from Lady Lightbright about how awesome they are. I assume that attitude is fairly pervasive in AD as LL is known to be one of AD's zergherders. I remember getting similar attitude from Natalie Mayweather (zergmother Natalie as she was known) back on Bloodthorn - we win because we're awesome not because we outnumber you 60:5 early mornings!)

I don't think a lot of people understand how farming is calculated to be successful or not. They just see the flags flip and think 'I WON!'

For those reading (I'm sure Huntler understands): If we take Faregyl on Haderus (or any other keep/resource/outpost on a server) and farm it for about 90 minutes before, finally, being overwhelmed, we don't look at losing the keep as a loss. We knew it'd happen.

Did we pull a good AP Per Hour rate?
Did we successfully deflag the keep a few times and get D-ticks?
Did we get a good KDR? (kill:death ratio)

If the answer to all three is yes, then no, the defenders were not farmed. The attackers were. I can guarantee you the AP given to the attackers over the course of the whole fight was a fraction of what the defenders received.

Unfortunately people tend to forget it's a game and meant for fun and entertainment. I have a deep respect for the people in the other factions. Having only been involved in PVP for the last two months I've learned a lot from them. Death recaps are good for that.

I like when you guys take fare on Haderus, I've noticed the pattern. It pulls all the AD zerglings to it for a while until they either eventually overwhelm you or give up and start stealing the EP points I'm farming . (But until then, they are all busy with you so I get to have some fun with EP with no AD zerg)

I really enjoyed having Alessia on Haderus the other day. They tried to front door it like a bunch of EP potatoes.

Hour long siege, Alessia farm is red the whole time, and AD is just trying to smash it's face against the Alessia front door.

I understand now why you guys love that place so much. It was so awful it was hilarious.

Alessia is one of the most defensible keeps on the map because of that slope.

The farm is literally the only approach that can work (assuming both sides actually know how to offense/defense).

Any other approach is complete fail there.

But I notice AD's been going into berserk mode more lately. Our core's been aggressively taking and holding parts of our pizza for longer periods of time, and we're getting stronger every week (since there's more of us on the top 20 ;D) AD your days are numbered.....

"Staunch resistance" early on. I was the only guy defending half the keeps you took and I have the video to prove it. I've even seen members of the regular group AFK and auto attacking in the gate walls so they don't get DC'ed. Even the final keep had less than 10 people defending it against at least 30-40 EP.

Either way Haderus is still a buff server. I didn't desire emp, I was only sick of playing on the unstable laggy mess that is Thornblade so decided to PvP here this week...and I only did it heavily for 1 day. I'd rather Sura had remained emp for the rest of Haderus existence.

This is the funniest thing I've read all week.

That's what you get for being emp on Haderus, Ezareth.

Ehh the AD came in to fight the DC and EP who came in from off campaign.

Everyone wants to farm all the RP/PvE AD pugs. We have the fattest pugs in the game right now, like a pig farm without the slop.

Everyone keeps messaging me like I'm calling in all these forces but the reality is if people see there is action on Haderus, they prefer that to the laggy mess that is Thornblade.

I tried playing on thornblade for a couple hours last night and it hasn't changed. I spent half my time holding block as people beat on me trying to switch weapons and the other half just pecking at zergball after zergball. I don't miss it one bit.
