Heritance Proving Ground completed - no achievement

I've cleared the Heritance Proving Ground world boss but received no achievement and the skull and crossbones icon on my map is still outlined black.
Is this a known bug or do I just need to go through it all again?

✭✭✭✭✭Are you sure you killed the Boss? Or was it just his adds? I have thought I completed this before as the boss looks just like his adds, but with 5 times the Health. Anyways, I cleared the adds and thought I had done it also. Had to come back. And, this is one of those bosses that is not that soloable, so he will kick your butt all over that beach.....
I need to do this one on my VR Instance character, if this is VR instance for a DC character, let me know and I can do this with you tonight. Otherwise I have a couple of AD characters that I can help you with.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Surfinginhawaii✭✭✭I don't know if this is the reason you didn't get the achievement but I have found that if you kill the boss and it is outside of a certain zone were they spawn then you won't get the achievement. I've had this happen with world bosses at least 5 times and unfortunately I don't know what that zone is were you won't get the achievement.2 -

✭✭✭✭✭That might be why I did not get it the first time. Although if you kite the Boss outside of his "area" he should reset. Most Bosses do that.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

GrimMauKin✭✭✭✭I definitely killed the boss - he was named and had a massive health bar plus hits that could take me out in one go.
I did have to move about a bit to avoid getting creamed but, as above, they usually reset if you take them too far out of their area.I am one of The Great Mediocracy, those whose role in life is to provide the baseline by which The Few deem themselves Great.0 -

Evandus✭✭✭✭Did you relog? It took that and 4 kills to get the achievement to register for one of my alts. My main had to kill him and his adds twice to get the achievement.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I do have to say that I got the achievement on the last two characters I took up against him. If your on the NA server, message me in game tonight and I can bring an AD (leveling) or a DC (VR Instance) and we can kill him a few times until you get the achievement.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

AshemothSoul Shriven...And its August 2017 and despite reading about the the patch fix in v1.5.2, this world boss is still bugged. No completion together with those in my party after multiple attempts. Loots are fine though.
