Maintenance for the week of February 23:
· [IN PROGRESS] NA megaservers for maintenance – February 23, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)
· [IN PROGRESS] EU megaservers for maintenance – February 23, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 17:00 UTC (12:00PM EST)
· [IN PROGRESS] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – February 23, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)

So ZOS has eliminated the Monday updates, too?

I knew ZOS had cut in half their twice weekly maintenance windows; but I was unaware they had eliminated them altogether. Was this announced? Or was today's maintenance quietly cancelled without notifying players?

I spend almost all of my time in Cyrodiil so I am unaware that the rest of the game doesn't need any maintenance. A couple of glue sticks, some kite twine and an aging hamster on its wheel are all that is keeping the PVP game afloat - and it is taking on water as fast as the Titanic. Maintenance and fixes are needed in Cyrodiil almost as much as an Ebola cure so I am not sure why it was cancelled.

Huh? They pushed a maintenance patch last Monday. Just because they aren't doing one this week doesn't mean they're no longer doing them. Maybe they don't feel like their upcoming fixes are ready or they have enough ready to go to warrant bringing the servers down. Also, they DID notify the players....I'm staring at the notification right above your post.

There is no yellow or blue notification box for at the top of the forums' pages like there usually is. If there is one there, I cannot see and have not seen it.

Also, the primary Cyrodiil campaigns are filled with crashes and lags which necessitate even a simple reboot/restart/refresh maintenance. Of course, ZOS' complete lack of concern for the PVP crowd is nothing new.

Yeah, PvE is going to be awful on Thursday too for me in Hong Kong. Sigh, they take my money...I suspect the maintenance team are paid by the hour.

Maintenance happening? Why are the servers down?! What are we paying you people for?!

There was one...Are you sure you didn't just accidentally click the cross on the top right hand corner and closed it?

I was looking at it myself before I closed, saw it six hours ago when I was at uni.

I see a yellow box with the following text directly above your first post (it's also visible in all of the forum pages): "We will no t be having our regular maintenance for the North American and European Megaservers on October 6 and 7, respectively."

I don't know why you can't see it....

I'm not sure a server reboot is a fix for anything. Does that by itself really justify bringing everything down? I doubt it. Like I said, maybe they don't have any or enough patches they feel are ready enough to push to the live servers to justify maintenance. That being said, I don't recall them EVER skipping 2 Mondays in a row, so I'm fairly certain there will be one next Monday.

We will not be having our regular maintenance for the North American and European Megaservers on October 6 and 7, respectively.

Cos after 6 months and one Ice Snake thingy that means "Missed Maintenance on Monday, means lots of logging on Thursday." I love this game as much as failed 1st Age Heroes, but 6 months down, these guys need telling when they are messing up. I'm a teacher. Do you think any of the parents or kids in my class hold back? So why should we? This is a private school too, we pay!

Just for the record, the little notification of no maintenance didn't show up for me today, either. I have no problem with no maintenance, but the usual notification is missing for me.

There is no message at the top of my screen and there wasn't one there all weekend, either. Another user has also reported the notification at the top of the page does not display for them. I guess it was just a matter of time before the forums became as buggy as the game itself.

I never received it in the first place so how could I close it? The last notification I received was for last week's character copy maintenance on the PTS. I have received none since then, although today's would have been the first one after that one.

Sorry for the confusion surrounding the banner on the forums, everyone. There is indeed no maintenance today/tonight, and we've updated the banner so that everyone can see it, not just those who hadn't dismissed the previous banner (by clicking the X in the top-right corner of the message). Going forward, we'll be more consistent with banner visibility to ensure everyone has the same information regarding server outages and other important news.

I saw the message on Sunday.
FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

Example: There were hundreds of Jedi and only two Sith in Star Wars. The Jedi wanted, "Balance in the Force" and they got it. Now there are only two Jedi and two Sith.
