Video proof of the invincibility exploit

A lot of people in the original invulnerability exploit thread seem to believe that it's only a matter of people complaining because they lost a fight, and some that it has to do with mist form and a certain PvP set, or even shield stacking.
We have encountered several unkillable AD players on Thornblade EU, and I was able to open OBS to record a demonstration once the fighting calmed down.
You can see the video here, and I apologize about all the black bars, but for some reason it is not allowed to name these people who are clearly exploiting.
Before anyone decides to call lag or that the user had disconnected and wasn't actually present, you should watch from 50 seconds in to the video, when the exploiter gets up and walks in range of the tower mage who seems to be able to deal damage to him. There was also no server lag, this was not during prime-time.

ghengis_dhan✭✭✭It looks like the player was at a loading screen because he was not moving, blocking, or attacking while you were pummeling him. Suddenly, he starts moving around and taking damage.
I get those loading screens sometimes. When it happens during a big fight, I'm thinking I will come back dead, but no. The fight moved on, and I'm just fine.
There's probably code in place that when the server loses its connection with the client, the player becomes invulnerable. If this is the case, ZOS should probably consider making the player invisible as well. When people dont take 2x dmg of their total health in 3 seconds and come out of it with only 5% of it missing then maybe people wouldnt be saying "eploit" alot....

hmm, I don't know if this relates to your issue, but there are bow users that hit people so fast that it doesn't all show up in the death recap. (macro i assume) That happens to me too often... instant death on a horse, death recap shows like 800 damage.

How do you know the person wasn't healed as you attacked? addon wouldn't show that. I'm not saying exploits aren't there, just that from what I see on the forums it's assumed out of ignorance way too often..

Isbilen✭✭✭✭✭It's definetily not a matter of loading. These three guys who were invulnerable were fighting earlier without taking any damage, and if you look at the combat log in the video when he was being damaged by the NPC none of my attacks would still register.
He didn't die in the video by the way, he went down to the bottom floor and stood in a corner shooting silver shards on another player whilst still being invulnerable.Edited by Isbilen on October 5, 2014 1:39PM0 -

✭Interesting... even if he did start out on a loading screen, he definately loads in at some point. But even then, the PCs are not able to damage him but the NPC is.
The health bar movement is all too familiar. Seen it so many times in Cyrodiil under all sorts of different circumstances. The health bar drops for about 5% and then it doesn't move at all subsequently.Edited by Baphomet on October 5, 2014 1:50PM- The Psijic Order

No code. If you log in on the field you can die just like if you dc in the field or are playing. There is no safety net.

Hey that would make sense how ever I was vs'ing them 1v1. The 4.6k dmg went off before they did any animations(they didnt heal other then maybe a potion, although in the video you can not see the potion effect light thing that goes around the character) also we are fighting in the middle of nowhere with no others around us.
I was the one hitting them not the other way round. I did 4.6k dmg to them in 3 seconds then ran as I noticed it did less then 5% dmg to their total health. They stood still for all of it until I started to run in which they chased me.
No animations casted by them
No visable use of potion however even if they did how did it stop 4.6k
No others around
No animations casted by others seen visible on their body
No more then a 5% hp drop on their health bar or on the 2 ad ons I used which showed me doing 4.6k dmg.
Like I said this game when it comes to pvp is a joke, anyone in the department dealing with pvp should be fired and replaced....
Not only do you fight people who take minuscule damage due to weird exploits but some people I fight take huge amounts of damage without being affected, or at least barely at all.
I am a huge fan of Elder scrolls, I have spent thousands of hours on the gamesand finished every one of them since morrowind 100%. By 100% I mean collected every item, done every quest, seen everything you can see, cleared all areas etc, fully completionist style.. I even will be getting a tattoo related to morrowind soon... BUT even I a hardcore fan thinks they screwed up pvp in this game...

Yea the whole pvp design in this game is a mess... Its why I refuse to play it... ✭He just killed a normal sorc, hitting with 2,2k friggin snipes with lights weaved in, basically murdering anything instantly and complaining about shieldstacking because it might sometimes happen to give a victim enough time to react.
The invul exploit works without shields... as shown by a video in this very thread. So no, Rylana probably killed a normal sorc, teabagged him and wrote a hate message on the forums.

Nah, known invulnerability exploiter. Until I did the proper rotation at the right time I couldnt hurt him.
Its all about... when... you attack them. There is a telltale cue, watch for it and youll find it too, if you time it perfectly they drop nearly instantly. ✭✭✭I'm confused with this whole thing, I haven't seen this exploit or even seen convincing proof of it on the forums. I'm a Major grade 2, which is a significant time investment, I've killed or been killed by anyone of worth on Thorn blade NA. Just. Never. seen it.
