The first major push they have made towards achieving this re-balancing effort involves modifications to weapon abilities:

Heavy attacks restore Stamina/Magicka (already live in Update 4)
Buff to stamina based abilities (coming soon)
Make damage competitive between Magicka and Stamina
New AvA abilities – AoE damage, stealth detection, healing debuff, a Stamina based heal.

    The stamina based heal sounds pretty interesting. I wonder if it will be self only, multi-target, or AoE.

    Finally some real upgrades for 2h,

    Been pushing for reduced cast time of uppercut forever. It is too easy to notice and block as is and ends up a waste of stamina. I didn't see the video, but about how much faster is it, if they showed it.

    I never really spammed Critical charge, but Since I use Critical rush and they are increasing the bonus damage. I don't think the change will affect me much. Stampede users will lose out tho.

    Momentum being a Hot is something I and other suggested. Tho it was suggested for Rally, being part of the base skill is even better. But for forward momentum, I would hope for it to change to remove a snare or immobility for each hot tic instead of on activation.

    Reverse slash really needed to have that AOE damage improved. 20% was crap. But, the skill still needs to reach its max damage on the single target at a higher current target HP amount. Its great for boss encounters in PvE, but I still cant see myself using it all that much in PvP. At least, something has to be done for it on the PvP side.

    Forceful change is ok. It would be better if it didn't just apply to light and heavy attacks tho, but also the weapon abilities.

    Arcane fighter I never liked. It doesn't have anything to do with the physical nature of the 2h Sword. The new trait is better, tho its hard to get a fully charged heavy attack off in pvp with a melee weapon since you leave yourself open long enough to eat one of the million stuns to eat. We'll see how it goes.

    Having cleaves damage and range increase to compare to impulse is great and much needed, for cleave to really be comparable to impulse, they would have to either make it unblockable or make impulse blockable. Just making the damage equal would make it equal in pve, but not pvp. I hope they just go the make impulse blockable route eventually. Im very glad they aren't just leaving the damage increase on this skill up to that silly ability altering enchant..

    Nothing was said about the heavy weapons trait tho... Battle axes bleed and Mauls armor penetration are going to need some love for the new system coming up. The Axe bleed needs to be stronger and based on current weapon damage and the Maul armor pen needs to be a %, not a static value. Greatswords still look to be the only viable weapon for 2h line use unless they have something to say about that trait..

    Overall tho, finally :). I wonder if they have anything planned for DW tho. Its skills needs various forms of love too. For one, the bleed of twin blades and blunt trait and dual slashes is ignored by too many enemies in pve. It would be nice if they like stopped making enemies immune to bled to counter that.

    Sorry we can spam it but they're reducing the damage to try to stop the spamming of it.

    If the damage is too low then it won't be on anyones bar, let alone spamming it.

    I agree lol. Spam stampeding to hit one person has to be nerfed, but spam impulsing to wipe whole zergs is fine.

    As long as they properly change the cc known as disorient to give cc immunity then its all good. They have to make it tho auto immunity starts as soon as you get hit with a cc action or else you can still be locked un certain cc comboes such as streak spam, then make the duration refresh if you activate break free.

    This is a good fix to cc problems in cyrodil, zos. Hope you read it.

    LOL funny, it only took them over 6 months to fix something that was brought up to them pre launch. Faith in devs........gone (well, it's been gone for a month or so. Rarely play anymore, like a lot of people)

    Subsidising heavy attacks is probably great for ranged players, but bad for melee players. Confronted with a ranged player, a melee player can only try to "ride out the damage" as long as the ranged player stays outside of gap-closer range. Riding out the damage is going to be even harder now. Meanwhile, heavy attacks for melee players does not increase DPS significantly, but it does leave them vulnerable for too long, so there's no gain even in melee.

    That anyway is my experience in PvP.

    Nope it is you who are reading it wrong. It should read "DK is awesome so DK will get a BUFF to GDB and REFLECTIVE SCALES deal with it and FUallktxby!"
