Tips for low level vampire quest

Hello all. I would greatly appreciate any advice and tips from those who have completed the vampire quest at low level. I am a level 16 bow/DW nightblade. Just crafted a night's silence set which I'm hoping will help. I've only leveled stamina up until now but I plan on a respec for attributes and skills depending on any advice I get.

Any advice you guys can give on stats, attributes, enchants, strategies, etc would be appreciated. Thanks!

Use stealh ...attack your enemys from the back and you will get a 100% critical+ Stun.
Kill your enemies 1 by 1 , and drain health from your foe if you are in trouble.

that will get you the victory in the vampire quest.

Now...try to defeat the serpent in the werewolve quest when you are level 16 , lol

Until the upcoming Stamina changes are introduced, it would be better to put all your Attribute Points into Health, then use Glyphs for Magic (or Stamina as the case may be)

I second the notion of attacking from behind with stealth, you get massive damage compared to a frontal attack from the Sneak Critical you get, every time. Basically, if your in the "cone of vision" of the mob, you won't get the Sneak Critical, at least very often. Pull this off correctly, and most mobs are a one shot or just a follow up shot away from being dead. Of course the other mobs that aggro on the initial attack are the trick.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I did the quest at lvl 16 as well.

1st thing: your skillbar will be all messed up when you enter the crypt because drain and mistform and swarm are added for the duration on the quest, you'll want to put ambush and impale back on.

2nd thing: Stealth, ambush, drain, funnel health, blood craze are all your friends. Crit and self heals got me through.

Check this link OP, it will help you out for sure, video shows how to kill 10 mobs as low level character.

    Hope it will help.

Ps. I have done it myself as lvl9, it is really not hard, most important part is to where to jump while kiting mobs on stairs, as they will slow you down with melee hit, and then kill you fast.

I was bitten at level 13, but succeeded at this quest when level 26 a little over a week ago.

From what I have seen, you need to use the bow at anything lower than I was with Volatile Arrow to knockback the enemy and give you room to run away to gain more space, use healing potions, etc.

Take each enemy on one by one. The best area to do this is the area where the stairs are just after you fall down the hole. There is one enemy in the alcove and another that is at the top of the stairs. There is a third one you can hit just a little further down the cave that you can taunt to your location. That way you don't have to wait as long for another enemy to respawn and u can use the stairs to run in circles.

You goal, is to keep you health up enough to whittle away at the enemy. I made armour to the max of where my level was, and added health runes to all of the pieces.

I actually think they nerfed this quest so it was much harder for lower level players (under 24) to acquire the full infection. Less than 40% of your attacks will actually hit the enemy. Most will actually go right thru them which is really annoying, but understandable. The enemies will hit you like a Mac truck. 2-3 hits and you are dead.

My character is a sorcerer, with a destruction staff. I never used the bows as I didn't want to spend points on a skill just to be able to do this one quest.
I ensured that I had the highest possible provisioning item for my character to raise health by another 140pts in addition to all the runes on the armour. I used Crystal shard when behind the enemy as much as possible since it had a percentage to knock down the enemy, so I could run. Then I always ensured I had the Twilight Matriarch up for the additional healing boost when I was hit to 30% health.

It's all about timing and strategy to get through this at lower levels. There are some videos by people on Youtube showing how they did this at level 10, but I honestly think it was before the level nerf.
Far too many characters to list any more.

Thanks a lot! This is all really helpful. I have a couple of questions:

    1. Should I just pump all health on attributes and enchants?

    2. I see a lot of people mention funnel health. Is that more beneficial than swallow soul? It seems the only difference is healing allies which I don't really need. Is there another benefit?

In PVE, I use 3/1/3 ratio for attributes, a character in PVP will want to use 0/49/0.

I found this to quest to be difficult, but not very difficult as a LVL 16 DW nightblade. Save the vampiric Drain for when your health is low. Use other self heals and potions as needed, stealth is your friend. Always go for the stealthed crit opener and try not to agro additional mobs, they're pretty well spaced out so you'd have to work at it to draw more than one unless you are trying to kite from range.

I think funnel health scales differently, and the aly heals will build Ult. Does same damage.

Probably the worst part: vampire skill line is really intended for lvl 40ish character, I got it at lvl15 or lvl16 (can't remember, might have ticked lvl16 during the quest) so it levels very slowly for a lvl 16 character. I'm lvl 37 now with that Character and just hit lvl8 in Vamp skill line and last night was finaly able to morph swarm.

Thanks for the tips everyone. Pulled it off this morning. Wasn't too bad at all. Just kept killing the three by the stairs. Heavy shot from sneak, venom arrow, swallo soul, and repeat. With a shadowy disguise and magnum shot as needed. Didn't even need to pot. They definitely must've nerfed it as you said.

Kite the enemy and use stuns/knockbacks/knockdowns.

    Within; Without.
