I think they have largely replaced The Road Ahead with ESO Live. As I have said elsewhere, we are getting better information from sources closer to the action than The Road Ahead provided.

With the Summit, it would be particularly anti-climatic to push out The Road Ahead. He would largely repeat information we already knew. Except for those things already promised for Update 5 and Update 6, his timeline would still be filled with "soon".

While I appreciate hearing from Firor, I'd prefer that The Road Ahead only come out when there is actually some new stuff to tell us about.

Maybe the road ahead is actually a roundabout with a big statue of Sheogorath in the middle? You call them something different in the US though - can't think of the word ... Circle junctions? Sprial roads? O crossings?

Didn't you hear? Now that we've had "our" guild summit, those 20 elite players will replace their CS and all communication with players.
You should ask one of them what Matt thinks, not Matt himself. He is much to important and/or buys to communicate with the rest of us.

Don't even get me started on guild summit. If Zenimax seriously think that's going to rival EVE Onlines player council they are kidding themselves.
At least CCP make it so the members of the player council are actually voted on by actual players. Ok of course some of those come from the bigger guilds as they vote for their own but its certainly better than the hand picked farce that we have here.

Anyway, back on topic. We were told we would receive a monthly Road Ahead update and they have failed to deliver period !

Not really. It is obvious that he does not intend to publish these monthly, so I am not sure why they would put that in there when they posted it. I think it was simply an error.

Firor has never stated a schedule for them. Until August he had not even indicated that there would be a next one. Everyone, including the person who put "monthly" in there whey they posted it, just assumed that they were monthly because they had been monthly.

I think that he intends to publish them at intervals, just not a monthly interval. He is the boss, so he decides when he is going to write one, no matter what any of his staff might say.
