I'll rephrase the question: how much armor does a legendary VR14 armor glyph add to a jewel? I am hoping I can reach armor soft-cap with two such glyphs.
At least 580, probably closer to 600 or maybe a bit more per Legendary Glyph of Decrease Physical Harm
I cannot answer your question, since I do not personally know.
But why would you wear 7 pieces of Light Armor? The Armor Bonuses cap at the 5 Piece set.
You then have 2 other slots for using either Medium or Heavy Armor. That also opens up the Passives for those Armor types that you are missing out on by not using them.
This also means that you can use a second armor set as well for the 2/3/4 set piece bonus.
If you are a Light Armor user, try adding in 2 pieces of Heavy Armor. If you are able to soft cap armor, it will get you there faster with the extra armor available from the Heavy pieces.
Because spell resistance, spell cost reduction, spell penetration, and magicka regeneration all continue to rise in effect beyond 5 pieces of light armor.
But in reality I wear heavy imperial shoulders, purely for looks. If it didn't make my char look so cool, I'd wear 7 light pieces. Every piece of light armor is pure gold for a caster, but my Breton is not buff enough to look cool with light shoulders.
