What Happened to Grouping/Phasing?

I was very happy to see grouping and phasing being one of the agenda items for the ESO guild summit. However, looking over what has been discussed so far and what is on the agenda today it looks like grouping and phasing is being skipped unless I have missed something.
One of my major PvE problems right now is grouping and phasing that restricts me from playing with friends unless I am on the same quest step as them. Of course with so many quests, that is pretty much impossible. I also heard that they "fixed this in Craglorn with 1.4. However, it is still blocking my friends and I from completing quests together.
So, when will this be discussed and where is ZOS on recognizing and correcting the overly restrictive grouping and phasing mechanics?

✭✭✭They already did some work to it but the next overhaul on it is next update. They said it in the live stream and I'm sure we will see it in the Road Ahead.1 -

Yeah, however we'd actually have to see the latest (already overdue) 'Road Ahead' statement !

Because your impatient. The Raod Ahead comes out right before the PTS gets updated so most likely next week. Plus with all the other ways ZOS is communicating the Road Ahead will do nothing more than confirm what we have already been told so its kind of pointless anyway.Edited by ers101284b14_ESO on October 2, 2014 4:24PM0 -
polar✭✭✭I know they already did some work, and there may be more info coming up. My question/concern is what happened to it as an agenda item from the guild summit. It is indicated as an agenda item, but it has not been discussed and does not look like it will be.
I hope that ZOS talks it through with folks and is made to understand how important it is....including how drastic the fixes need to be. Really, we need to have it set so that we can group and quest with anyone at any time regardless of the quest step they are on as long as we are the appropriate level to be in the area and it is not a solo fight. So, if I have completed a quest and boss fight, I should be able to pick it back up (or have it shared) and jump on back in. And, if I need help with a group boss, I should be able to grab 3 friends to help me, regardless if they are on the same quest step or not.0
