"Huh.. a bit late isn't it...
It was either forgotten and sent now in a rush of panic or decided about before they pushed the update... I mean the purpose of the mail is to lure players who stopped playing back in, so pretty smart to send it now when most of the more obvious bugs have been ironed out."

Heishi✭✭✭✭✭I did the same thing. I saw the email and was like "wtf, a little late isn't it" considering the contents of the email consisted of pretty much just the announcement from the login screen with graphics.
And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.2 -

1. Usually when you "Defend Zenimax" you actually mean making aggressive and caustic posts against players who want some things to be different.
2. You were given good information. You might not have received it in a timely manner but the information is good.
As for you receiving it: Do you have a clean installation? Are your graphics up to date? Did you run a scan for viruses? What steps have you taken on your own before complaining here? Do you have a dxdiag?
3. And they probably sent out the e-mail just to notify anyone who was waiting for the update who doesn't live on the forum, like you do. So you got one of those e-mails, at least they were thinking about you. What, are you going to sue them and say they made your teeth rot?
It isn't the end of the world.

Spottswoode✭✭✭✭✭Actually it's kind of normal for companies to let players who aren't regulars know that they have a new update. Most of us already knew update 4 was coming out that day. The time delay is kind of odd though. But it's nothing worth complaining about, really.
