What Happened To the Loyalty Rewards ?

A lot of people were pleased when Zenimax announced the loyalty reward scheme. A great number (myself included) thought this was a good move, especially after the whole STEAM pet/reward farce !
Anyway... the loyalty scheme was announced and we were told that the first rewards would be going out early Sept. Well its now just a few days away from October and we still have no rewards !
Does anybody at Zenimax understand the phrase "empty promises" ?
EDIT - As Alex pointed out the 'actual' wording of the Zenimax announcement said "in September" not early Sept as I said.

Agreed, badly worded on my part. They did indeed say 'in' September. Its still semantics though. Rather like when they said updates would be every 4-6 weeks. Not one update yet has been closer to 4 weeks than it has 6 !

Huh? I'll give you "this week" on a Sunday could mean Saturday (in U.S.) But it doesn't mean next week. That would (obviously) be next week.
IIRC in many parts of Europe, Sunday is actually the last day of the week (not first) and thus "This week" on a Sunday would pretty much mean that Sunday.
ZoS is a U.S. company though, so this week ends at the end of Saturday.

Nah , not really , you are not to blame if zen got a horrible marketing team that makes *** calls left and right.

Though I will say it's a bit disconcerting that ZOS has built a reputation around making the player base wait until the last possible minute to enjoy any bone they have to throw.

If it was something interesting... an interesting pet (cat, senche, panther ftw) or a funky costume of some kind I might care more.

✭I want a bird pet, like a hawk or a falcon or an eagle, something predatory. Or changes to existing pets to actually interact with your character.
For instance:
The monkey climbs up your character and sits on their shoulder should you stand still long enough.
The mudcrab starts snapping at your character's feet causing them to dance around to avoid getting pinched.
The pig brings you truffles and drops them at your feet. (NOT ACTUAL ITEMS, just animations)
The scuttler does figure 8's around your character's feet if you're idle long enough.
The dog runs off and brings you back a stick.
The Razak's opus critter zaps you if you stand still long enough. Or it condense into a dwemer box or something.

Actually I don't care, I don't want it, but I haven't been saying so, mainly because I can just put it on my banking Alt (problem solved for me).
But you will always get somebody complaining about the rewards, you just got to tune them out, a bit like the teenagers on the bus.

Oh mate, you couldn't have put it better. Honesty, transparency and integrity... the three principals any company should adhere to. I made a similar comment a while back and got slated by the sycophants but at the end of the day good business practice is good business practice. Empty promises will just lose them subs !
