Damage from Impulse gone down to 177

Yesterday I was grinding Dest Staff 'Impulse' and got it to 184 damage...today I logged in and its back down to 177...what's going on? I have lost several hrs of grinding.

Is your weapon damaged? As the condition falls off, so does the damage.

My toon lvl is 44 and at Impulse 2...I checked on another toon lvl 45 and Impulse un-locked is 179...it would appear that it has gone back to it's starting damage.

Lots of potential reasons why the damage might have changed

- You were using food buffs that raised magicka, which increases the damage of impulse, and the food has now expired
- Your armor got damaged, causing your magicka pool to decrease and thereby lowering the damage of impulse
- The higher damage was from the buff of another character that passed by
- The higher damage was due to a PVP weapon damage buff that has since then expired
- You switched an item in your gear loadout
- You changed the skills on your skill bar, and that affected your damage. (For example, many skills passively increase magicka if you have them slotted).

Uh... weapons don't take damage. They don't need repair. They don't lose damage.

They lose charges when they proc their ability and can then be recharged using a soul gem. This does not affect any spells' damage.

If I understand right the skill levelled up and now went back a rank.
It's a bug ... and they know about it.
