NO, wait for TES7, why would you want more solo play in an MMORPG. It's not the AIM for a multiplayer game to make content for solo players.
LOLKID ragers fire at will, doesn't make it less true and please stop asking for more solo content, you allready have 18 zones and 150 hours of solo play, just reroll in all the alliances and take your time.
PVP hasn't gotten any update since game start and endgame PVE has ages to go before it has as much content as solo play they should be prioritized.

And doesnt matter really , ALL the endgame content right now on PvE is group focused ,hell solo players are stuck back at VR10, PvP will get both the justice system and the city (which apparently is full of PvE? Well anyway still in cyrodiil :P)
MMO isnt equal to group play , it is that simple.
Anyway you dont need to worry much , zen isnt stupid enough to not notice that they have plenty of solo players they arent giving anything to do and thus losing more and more , but they are too slow to stop it.
By the time they finally get to the new zone one must wonder how many will actually have been waiting for it and how many will have just left the game to play other games who actually have any idea about how to make endgame content in a way to keep their players.

Yup, this is not a solo game.

Hm, maybe you joke and i dont understand this. But in Teso you can do Level 1-50 alone, the most Veteran Content too, except Craglorn and the Dungeons.
Teso isn`t a MMORPG, where only Grouping is the Way to reach something in the Game. Sure it is a MMORPG but the most People playing more solo than in a Group before they hit VR 14.
Craglorn is another Story, it forces the Player to group.
Typobethesda has been working on it for 1 year now anyways following the way they do stuff it's gonna be ready in 2016 and all the solo players asking for content will go there and finally leave MMORPGers have a good game.
I would like ZOS to add one epic endgame story line with quests that would take a week or a few weeks to complete. Just one, but well thought and challenging, mysterious, involving combat, traps, dungeons with hidden paths, doors and keys, complex unlocking mechanisms, no quest pointers. Something I would not do to gain xp, but to become an adventurer.

And when(if) all the solo players leave ESO, this game will fall on it's ass. It's bad enough half the areas are already dead due to the idiotic faction instancing system !
As I wrote in another thread, but it applies here too:
... name me one other AAA MMO that forces solo play in the main quest.
IMO, this game is a solo player's paradise, as grouping mechanics in this MMO is among the worst I've seen.
- Want to group in the main quest? Pound sand!
- Want to group for the Fighters Guild quests? Pound sand!
- Want to group for the Mages Guild quests? Pound sand!
Guess turn-about is fair play in the veteran levels, when players are all but forced to group. Its as though ZOS wanted to be equal-opportunity at irritating all types of players.
It would be a simple enough algorithm to scale instances to the number of players, facilitating choice for players who either wanted to solo or group. Plenty of other MMOs have pulled it off.
But we'll never see it here. /rant

But the Solo Content doesn't give high end gear, or even good gear. To get anything viable, you have to do group content.
That is the problem.
If the Solo Dungeons were leveled, and always gave loot equal to your Vet Level, while still being a fun challenge, there would be no complaint.

I'm of the opinion that solo content should never give loot that is on par with group content. I'm sure I'm not alone.
You can already craft the best (or close to the best) gear while playing 100% solo. That by itself should appease most solo oriented players.

It never will appease us. We will never be appeased with the punishment of being forced to lose because of inferior gear due to our playstyle.
Group Players already have advantages over us, such as about 50 skill points. You don't need exclusive gear, too.

You don't loose because of the gear, you loose because of the skill. Gear is meaningless and as someone allready stated, most of the good gear has to be crafted.Sallington wrote: »As I wrote in another thread, but it applies here too:

As for the "best" gear dropping in solo dungeons: No. Group players that engage in end game raids have to work hard and spend a lot of money to clear the content, they should be rewarded for it and the reward should be better than for the people slacking and playing easy content by themselves in a multiplayer game.
Regarding the imaginary 50 skill points group players have, nothing keeps you from entering grouped dungeons alone and fighting/diying your way till the skyshard before porting out.

Maybe ZOS realizes that solo players will never be satisfied and will end up leaving anyways so why bother creating content for them?
As for "losing more and more", most Hardcore Gaming communities that came to ESO and competitive MMORPG players left the game because of the lack of PVE and the fact that PVP (besides being continuously broken and full of exploiters) failed to deliver. Most people that left the game did so because of the lack of end game content, the sucky UI, the horrible reward system (yaii blue item for Arena Hard Mode's Last boss): not solo play.
As for being "stuck in VR10", why would you care if you're VR10 or VR14? you won't have more solo content at VR14 anyways, end game is PVP and group PVE so it really doesn't change anything for you.
You could just get an addon that removes your compass quest tips...? Now you have a huge world to explore with no assist.
If gear was totally randomized but with much better chances with group content I'd be ok with that. I think I'd make solo loots of purple and gold quality bound though. If they are solo players, the gear they get won't really effect anything PvP, so I could care less if it's already bound when looted so it can't be sold to PvPrs and or I'd make it so the gear is reduced in quality in PvP environments.
Probably a little too much work though and better to just leave the situation as it is. I also have no problem with denying content to those that don't want to participate in the full game. People saying they should have access to all the goodies because they pay a sub KNEW it was an MMO with group content when they signed up. "Play your way" doesn't mean you get "Paid your way."
