After 3 months: still unable to find anyone bothering to quest with me in Craglorn

I guess I was lucky :) I've found many pick up groups (started a few myself too) and have completed most of the delves and quests in Upper Craglorn with them. Surprisingly, all the groups worked very well and I had a lot of fun exploring these new delves with other players.

I think the Upper Craglorn dungeons are a lot more interesting and varied than the ones in lower Craglorn were (those looked a bit more like solo dungeons still; the new delves each have a unique design with many new types of bosses and the locations just look amazing).

I think the difficulty is also just about right for random groups, with the 6 normal delves being a bit easier and the Skyreach dungeons being more of challenge, but one that can be completed if the group works well together.

Also, you can finally complete all one-time quests now even if only 2 people in the group have the quest (that was one of the biggest problems with the old Craglorn main-quest-line). The new daily quests also make it worthwhile to complete a dungeon more than once in my opinion (though the item and exp rewards could still be a bit better; not sure if you can get any nirnhoned trait items from these quests, for example), at least until your character is VR 14 :)

Just doing dungeons and quests in Upper Craglorn can actually be decent exp (37k for each boss, over 100k for clearing a dungeon for the first time, close to 20k for each daily quest, more for quest achievements I think) so I don't really understand why so many people only want to use the Hircine's exploit (or other powergrinds) to get to VR 14 as fast as possible. I guess they all just want the max level for PvP and stop doing PvE as soon as possible? :) Anyway, I had a lot of fun exploring the new content, so far (that was on the EU server) :)

Don't even have a character that is level 50 yet, perhaps you are simply too good for the rest of us mortals.

Maybe because we were all finished with them 2 months ago and there is not much of a reason to do them more then once. I actually repeated many guests and delves with guild mates but people stopped asking for this a while back.

Here's the catch: "we" means people who dinged VR12 ahead of others.

This usually work quite well in other MMOS, because once the "mass" of players have done a zone, the instances usually tend to be deserted and the newcomers can't do them. So the newcomers usually just do the single player level up quests and overcome with it the lack of groups.

Not in ESO, of course, where you are meant to be max level within the 2 weeks the other people do it, else you are stuck AND there's no alternate single player content to deal with it.

I personally helped a lot of people that were VR1-4 do the quests and delves, I also had a bit of problem finding people for Elemental Army and wtfever that last lame serpent quest was named because phasing. Find a nice guild and people will help you if they actually can help you.Zone chat fails even if you want to buy a stack of iron or jute so don't even try.

And anybody that actually forms a political party is a [snip][snip][snip] and can [snip][snip][snip].

    @‌Vahrohk

I really liked the quests in Craglorn, coming from someone who has done 1.100 quests in-game, feeling a little bored by questing in general, also grinded from vr12 to vr14 because I wanted to "gear up".

Nonetheless, I still have a bunch of quests to do and wouldn't mind running serveral dungeons again. If you need a companion or two, give me a heads-up I am also on EU, EP-Faction. Same name as this one, you might have a hard time addding/inviting me because "exotic" letters are not Zeni's specialty.
æ and the like often lead to "character not found", "account not found" and might have to be circumvented by using the group tool adding the users @account.

That said, see you in Craglorn and I was happy to see lots of offers to group up
with you instead of the enormous negativity that has gotten a hold on this forum.

Clearly the typical poor relation skills affair!

well, droping crocodile tears all over the place in an internet forum while beeing on a political "party" instead of hanging out with a cute whatever (dont know your preferences) is a great indicator for astonishing realtion skills ;)

it's still starting up, I have plenty of time for now. B)

Depends on the country? Actually no it, is "so bad" since resistance is useless.

EU Pact player here. It took me less than 5 minutes yesterday to find ppl for new story quests in Upper Crag. A week ago it took me 10-15 minutes to find ppl for Celestial Investigator quests on my second toon as well. Whenever i say in /zone "LFnM "quest_name" someone whispers me sooner or later.

I haven't had any problems finding PUGs (and also grouping with friends/guildmates) in Craglorn on NA in the AD alliance.

Sure there are plenty grinding, but the best thing is to list the ones you want to target (maybe list 3 different quests or more that are in your journal or what it is specifically you'd like to do). Don't look for a group looking to do everything in one go, people have all different amounts of free time to work with and of course may be in different time zones.

That method works just fine for group content in Craglorn (I have done every single quest there in both lower and upper) and not even half the times it was with my usual friends but made new ones in the process as well.

Well you found the group because *these* days people are actually active in there. Before the patch it was common knowledge you need about 4-6 hours of 3 people looking for a fourth to get a Celestial Investigator group running.

A guild I am in does Craglorn questing for vet rank players (any vet rank, regardless of whether you are a good player or not, because "having fun" is still a thing for some people) every Thursday night. I've been going to Craglorn once a week since I hit VR1, even though I am underleveled for some of the content. I would suggest find a better guild.

5 guilds including a PvE one.

Not a single player in them wants to do a single Craglorn quest including Upper Craglorn (by the way, all this wait to add a tiny piece of land?)

    Asking on zone chat?

Everyone doing Hircine (!!!!!!), anomalies or "grind bosses".

It's now THREE MONTHS all I do is repeating the same trials and nothing else.

That is, nothing has changed. I want my last sub money back.

So you want your money back because you can't convince people to do something you want to do, that they aren't interested in..?

You paid for a game, not the people who play it. Is the content there? Do the animations look cool? Is the storyline interesting? If no, maybe that's reason to ask for a refund.

Not having friends who will help you with a quest is not a reason to ask for a refund.

Actually I feel your pain cause it was a pain for me to get the celestial investigator achievement. And I can t say if now it is possible to be helped on those quest since I did not try to do them again . But actually I really think that it is a lot better now for upper part quest because poeple can help and you usually just have to find a group for a delve which is a bit easier .

Finaly from my expérience when you need poeple to get something you want and nobody want to help ,what you need is adding a bit more than "LFG "quest name " like

" LFM quest name, pay each player 500-1000gold !!
or also a less expensive method is to try asking for poeple in à roleplay manner.I for exemple always try to help poeple when i read an original sentence.exemple: this was for a dark anchor " Molag Bal is sending is creature at point X. Please mighty heroes of tamriel come to me and together we will send them back to Oblivion!

Also to finish and encourage you.In the upper craglorn main quest there is a REWARD ! And I can just tell you that now I m looking for an information...can I do the main quest again because if I can ,I will! There something all those grinder don't know yet ....

Well clearly you're getting carried by your 80 friends. If you can't even make friends and get them to engage content in a game where other people are clearly succeeding by the hundred, how do you hope to make people rally you IRL?

For beeing in an active EU guild (more than 50 people connected every evening), there is allways one or two groups in craglorn doing quests or dungeons.

But yeah, if you're not in an active guild, it's quite hard to find a PU group.

Since you persist in your bossing around I feel obliged posting a tiny detail you ignored.

The other day I, your guild leader and a guild mate of hers were grouped doing PvE.
We were commenting on your TeamSpeak server with some fun at reading your posts here and your delusions of grandeur.

You did not notice you are talking (bad) to and about your own guild mates. You did not even notice guild mates were online the day you proclaim about those: "there where like 6 groups questing in Upper Craglorn in different locations" and know the groups were *two*.

You barely play yet you downtalk who has a 100% presence record on every guild initiative and has never failed being there in progression encounters (that is tons of wipes learning new PvE).

    No other comments are necessary.

Thank you, I have found a number of people willing to do Upper Craglorn quests (they seem way more popular than Lower Craglorn) but if you'll find me online when you'll play I'll gladly join you.
