There are few visual bugs that irritate some of players like weapons floating very far away from armor and also look like they are placed in wrong way entirely. Then there are some animations stucking in mid state and some jerky animations as well..

The weapon placement bug is the most annoying for me and despite game being over half a year old, there is no mention about fixing them ever..

I know there are functionality fixes that are more important but in other hand, not all even notice them while these stick to your eye every time you havve the right armor/weapon combination. These visual things may seem unimportant to some but they are impotant, they make or break the polished look of game when you start playing and may lead to expectations that other stuff is as lazily done as the visual things.

Artists making models and placements should have pride enough to enforce them and we should be reasonable enough to consider these as important long term fixes

(Long term being half a year or so, not years)

Just try Dunmer robe and dual wield any weapons to see what i mean. I tested this and sliders in character creation do not affect this at all. This bug is visible in many armor/weapon combinations and should be fixed soon.

I really dont care if it takes time from dev team or not but they should be fixed. They are not as ijmportant as functionality fixes but they still are important fixes.

I am happy for all the attention toward visual fixes, sad it is.

Not to forget the odd hovering rocks and stones in landscaping. I know its really a lot of terrain to cover. I usually report with screenies when I find something :)

To be honest, I strongly suspect you're a rarity in that you even notice/are bothered by the floating weapons.

Playing in first person, I *definitely* haven't noticed.

That said, there are two probable fixes: Different sets of animations for different armor (Extremely unlikely. That would get messy *fast*), or modifying the armor to fit the location of the weapons (less unlikely).

I don't know how bad it currently looks, (certainly not bad enough for me to have noticed it on other people, but then I don't really see all that many people in DW weapons and dunmer robes) but it's quite likely the artistic designer or whatever decided having armor that was more aesthetically pleasing was worth having certain weapons "float" on that armor. (i.e. they could have made the robes more bulky to fit the "dimensions" of medium/heavy armor, where the DW weapon placement presumably looks correct, but decided having svelte robes was more important.) And personally, I'd tend to agree with them. If it came down to a vote between better looking armor or having the weapons float a bit off the armor in some cases, I'd vote for the former *every single time*.

But yeah, having bodies float a couple feet above the water in the that one town in Auridon (greenwater cove?) is sort of inexcusable.
