Every so often in pvp when I use Mass Hysteria, generally in a sticky situation to try to get some fears off and roll out of the fray, it will completely fail to work.

I'm noticing that sometimes I will press my hotkey for the ability mid combat, (more like spamming it) and my character will flail his arms around like he was actually doing the ability, but no swirly red animation appears and no fear/debuffs are applied.

Naturally after seeing one failed ability attempt (sometimes impale and veiled strike misfire, this is nothing new) I use the ability again, but unlike other ability misfires, the same thing happens again and again, seemingly until I exit combat, or at least the area which the combat took place.

To put this problem simply, sometimes in combat in pvp when using my Mass Hysteria, it will refuse to cast. It will take my mana, and take up an animation time slot, but no effects are produced, no fear, no animation magic effect, no debuffs.

Have any other nightblades noticed this problem? It almost makes me want to give up on using my class-based fear.
