Joking aside, I'm fairly certain they need the age gate for legal reasons, but it wouldn't hurt to have cookies so we don't have to reenter the date every time we reopen our web browsers.

I'm still using Firefox and when that stalls (hasn't for about two years) MS Explorer.
I used Chrome until they started a spiel about disabling non-shop Apps whereupon I dumped it and returned to Firefox. One of those non-Shop Apps running on Chrome was the Kaspersky Internet Security Suite. Yeah, disable the security programs, brilliant! Nuh-uh.
