Even worse are motifs 11-14, where lvl 1 looks exactly the same as VR14.
I was originally hoping at least the dents and scratches would continue to lessen with higher level armor, or better yet, higher quality.
Since the armor dyes are out, you can't even tell anymore if someone's wearing white VR1, or legendary VR14 armor.

Yea I dunno who signed off on the itemization of this game, the epitome of laziness. Whoever it was obviously had no clue as to what it is that makes Elder Scrolls what it is... the details!

The racial armor sets change with each material tier. The differences are subtle but certainly noticeable after the low levels. There are also some difference depending on the item quality. Blue items are more detailed than white and so on .

Nope. And the same goes for quality. Just cba to waste mats only to prove a point.

They change with each material up to T4, from T4-T9 they remain unchanged.

No they dont. Just posted a screenshot comparison of l36 chestpiece to a vr4 one. Its only colors changing past 36.

Tier 1 is iron (1-15), tier 2 is steel (16-23), tier 3 is orichalic (24-35), tier 4 is dwarven (36-43 or so). So, yes, up to Tier 4 they have unique visuals, and after that the only thing that changes is colors... or is there something else you're talking about?

I'm a little scared of them making new designs at high level, because it'll fall prey to what every MMO has done with gear, which is make it more and more ridiculous and shiny to the point of just being comical.
