I'm serious!
I just sent my resume using the 'General Application' link on your job postings page ...
:)

I have worked in the gaming industry for many years both as a programmer and development team leader. Lately i have been developing enterprise level backend systems dealing with high volume, real-time big data retrieval and processing applications.

I think my skillset is a perfect match for some of the challenges that ZOS (and ESO) is currently facing.
I have the experience, i have the skills, i can help!

I sent my Resume too. They sent me nothing. But I'm only a college Grad looking for entry level intern position. I'm guess they don't need someone to kiss their backside and get them coffee :(

I have not seen that resume, but if it is anything like the post hints at, I agree that this is the kind of skill ZOS needs. The problem is that they need rather a lot of it, and fast, and I'm not sure they have the budget or the courage to hire enough people with enough talent at this point.

You'd be better having sent you resume when working at ESO was actually rewarding both in $$$ and professional learning aspects.

As of now you'd end up fixing stuff created, thought designed by someone else.

That is, you are now a follower, in a world where it's only worth and rewarding being a leader.

Still a pretty damn decent addition to ones portfolio.
Especially if he's the One, that will help ZOS turn overcomplicated code into something beautiful.

Well good thing then that i have experience leading development and QA teams.
And i'm used to fixing things, it's part of what i do.

As far as learning goes, for me that never stops. Every new project or job gives you opportunities to learn, no matter how long you have been working in the industry.
    :)

Did you get in the job you wanted?
History, like a human being, is thirsty when it wakes from its slumber…History wants to drink up an enormous amount of blood. And even if history has tired of drinking blood, that’s only in regards to the amount. But what about quality? The larger the sacrifice is, the more delighted the cruel gods will be.

Judging by the current state of the game, i'd say that is a definitive NO.

Well, i take that back, i do very much have the job i want, it's just not with ZOS.
