What Causes This Blood and Glitter Effect?

I have an AD Templar.
A Blood and Glitter visual effect is triggered by an unknown event. The effect is only visible on my hands and appears as red blood and golden glitter. When I walk or ride my mount, the effect leaves a trail. It is not caused by Mage Inner Light, as the visual effect for this is totally different. Does anyone know what causes this effect? Thanks for any feedback!

I get that from some buffs to weapon dmg or spell dmg and even sometimes when health it buffed. Seems kind of random though as it only appears sometimes.

Yea, that's why I can't figure out what it is... however, it does disappear on zoning, which is even more odd.

Looks like this is coming from the Blood Altar spell.

Your character looks weird, like you over modified every facial feature during character creation...

I wouldn't of had to, except you posted full-on frontal screenshots without wearing a mask.

It looks like the heal effect from Sap Essence.I would account for the randomness however that glitter looks wrong.

Well, I don't use Sap Essence and my observations are found only in my solo play, so I question that. And the glitter is definitely there... in fact, when I ride my mount when I have the effect, it leaves a red, glittery trail behind me... and it is awesome!

It may be one of the multiple temporary buffs you get in AD. From the tree guys . It should be marked as a buff at the bottom of your character sheet.

Nope... I checked. It's not a temporary buff from the tree guys. Check out my buffs...
