You can test the delay simple by taping your block button. If you tap it enough times your player will be holding block for a few seconds after the fact that you already let go.
It feels like every command has a short 1 second cool down. If you try something too quickly you will most definitely mess up.
I feel like I'm being forced to play slowly or I will miss input and commands. This happens in PvE as well and even in non populated areas.
It's hard to look forward to updates knowing that crucial parts of the game get severely screwed.

^This is what i am experiencing. GTX 670 4GB and i7 980 and when more than 3 are on my screen, my character refuses to respond causing deaths and free xp and ap to the other side.

Wow, I thought I was hallucinating this effect. I had dark flare on the 1st slot of one bar, and honor the dead as the 1st of the other bar; I would rapidly switch to to the latter in order to fire off an urgent heal, and actually saw the bars flip over obediently, but then found myself instead doing the almost 2-second casting of the former, which was basically suicide. I ended up just slotting the heal in the same spot in both bars, which I almost never do except for difficult pve boss fights. I assumed it was personal client wonkiness or lag, but of course I should've used Ockham's Razor (has a patch recently gone out? if yes, then assume something new and exciting got broken before thinking it's isolated to your setup).Lava_Croft wrote: »My mana is constantly wasted because I'm busy casting a spell from my first skillbar, after I already managed to switch to me second skill bar. I feel you man. It's extremely frustrating. I feel so bad for anyone who plays this game with bad ping. I rely so much on timing my reflects, blocks, and knockdowns that just 1 second delay has cost me so much painful deaths.
And all I can do is just look at the screen with disgust.

Are you sure that's what you rely on. I think you rely on your friends alt more than anything.

Keep sounding more and more butt hurt by the day. You keep making up lies and rumors just to make yourself feel a little more comfortable about reality. Well here is the reality for you buddy, and I'm sorry to have to break it to you but at some point it has to be done.
I farmed you and whatever group you ran with. To me you are nothing more than AP fodder and Highlight reels that I can use in future videos. I know that sounds conceited, but it's not far from the truth.
You honestly think I made 400K AP by killing a friends Alt? Do you realize that I am 300K AP ahead of second place and in no way would killing a friends ALT make that number any more or less.
Honestly though, you're the guy who thinks Dueling = AP trading. So there's really no point in arguing with you.
This thread is regarding recent lag and input issues. Not about bad players who need to L2P.

OK lets break this down let me refer to my screenshot that I sent in when I reported this event.....You were at 48734 the guy behind you was 22341 there was one keep left for emperorship. we are not talking about the ap you gains as emperor we are talking about how u got fed while EHJ was doing all the work on the campaign and then ..oh yea they stopped when that saw what you were doing .

This latency has now rendered the game completely unplayable. I can only PVE by being carried by my teammates and I can't PVP worth a damn when I'm getting constant latency spikes.
If this garbage isn't fixed or at least acknowledged VERY soon, that's it for me. Even though the game is still free for the next two months it isn't even remotely fun playing in this condition.

In 4 hours of gaming yesterday in Thornblade (EU), I had one lag spike and one server crash but no client crash. I was however playing solo, so I can't tell you if grouping causes more crashes. Do you guys notice a difference in # of crashes as part of group vs solo?
On the issue of weapon swap and delayed abilities, I'd say I don't no exactly what's at fault, but I'm experiencing more unresponsive gameplay then I did. I think it's ability delay rather than swap, because I quite often swap weapon only for an ability from my previous bar to fire.
