Lockpicking - where do you start?

Simple, silly question that crosses my mind each time I start to pick a lock -- "I wonder where other people start by preference once they have a choice of the five springs?"

Just like the normal TES games , we do it so many times that even the hardest one become easy.

the dev's should expand the 5 springs to atleast 40 springs and make it a serious challange, ive been unlocking locks in elderscrolls games since morrowind back in 2001 so for me this lockpicking thing is a bit too easy.

altho i will admit the morrowind locks were easy and only needed chance and luck to open the lock and we could even cast an unlock spell on them, in oblivion we had a small skill could unlock also, but i think skyrim was more training then all of them combined, but now ive played eso lock picking and i feel like a graduate ready for the real locks or atleast a new type of lockpicking that can only happen if we take a long time to learn the new way of picking the locks, i need more of a challange.

I'm already deciding the fate of peoples lives in quests, I just leave this one to the mighty RNG to decide
PUG Life - the true test of your skill

18 characters, 17 max level, at least 1 Stam and 1 Mag of every class, 1 of every race and 1200+ CP

Tanked to Undaunted 9+ Mag and Stam of every class using Group Finder for 90+% of the Vet Dungeon runs

I actually don't know tbh, I do know at some point I'll pop over to the far left then try going right unless I screw a pick up, then it all becomes garbled.

I go deep at first, then methodically and rhythmically work my way out.
