Have you ever accidentally deleted hireling mails before reading the message? I have, on multiple occasions.
I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to. I'm also sure there's players that would like to re-read the stories once they're finished.
For these reasons I suggest hirelings' letters be included in the Eidetic Memory library.
Thanks for reading, discuss.
PS:I miss Pacrooti.

No I don't want them to be remembered because they are supposed to be unique and fun and flavor to the game I enjoyed.
They're on UESP, aren't they? But yes, it would be nice to have them in the game too. They're among my favorite writing in the game...
What are eidetic memory and UESP?
I've never accidentally deleted a hireling's message without reading it (and please don't suggest that you want the "confirm delete" option to come back, we've only just got rid of it!). But I have had to keep tons of the empty messages cluttering up my Inbox because I wanted to read them again. And I have had to delete lots of messages that I wanted to keep because I ran out of Inbox space.
Putting them into Eidetic Memory would seem like the most obvious solution to the problem. Although I have no idea how it could be introduced now... the stories I want to keep are from the old Blacksmithing and Enchanting hirelings.
