Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.
There is an option missing:
"I play a nightblade and I'm satisfied because I don't play it as a rogue ..."
Seriously, I like my nightblade tank, I'm satisfied with it, but I have to admit, that I don't use all that stealth stuff. So there is no option for me in your poll.

Guess you don't care about that opinion

Regardless of what you might think, nightblades are meant to have some rogue elements. Hence the cornerstone ability of shadow cloak, which you are acting like people shouldn't use anyway. It's a primary ability, you don't have to use it, but for the love of god it should be functional. That is not asking for two much.
Yes you can slot bow, they just buffed bows to look like they were doing NBs a favor, which they aren't, it helps everyone, and sorcerers can do it all just as effectively.
I played a NB till VR2. Realised they were the weakest class for PvE and I made a Sorcerer who is now VR12 (On the way to 14 as we speak)
It's sad that I had to abandon that character but they are just so... you know.
Still awesome for PvP though so sometimes I hop on and Snipe people.

Assassins and enforcers. Blades are mentioned. We are also proficient in healing ourselves. Are we in ESO? I don't think so. Can't even compare to DKs or Templars or even Sorcs' surge. Yes, destruction magic is also mentioned. But it goes like blades AND destruction magic as some help. Anyways, assassins with blades is what we call a rogue, right? Right.Nightblades are effective assassins and enforcers. Their speed and skills allow them to easily reach places most others could not. Nightblades dispose of opponents with a quick blade and Destruction magic. They are also skilled in Alteration magic, and are proficient in healing themselves.
They use their magic to enhance their concealment and close combat. They are somewhat casters, but they don't fight with magic. They use it. to. enhance. their.combat.Nightblades are spellcasters who use their magics to enhance mobility, concealment, and stealthy close combat. They have a sinister reputation, since many nightblades are thieves, enforcers, assassins, or covert agents.
But my class doesn't do that. You see, in this description no one says a word about magic. If you read other 3 descriptions, you will see that all other classes are introduced as mages, but not Nightblades.Nightblades are adventurers and opportunists with a gift for getting in and out of trouble. Relying variously on stealth, blades, and speed, Nightblades thrive on conflict and misfortune, trusting to their luck and cunning to survive.
Oh yeah, so what's your stamina bow build's dps?
I have several builds I swap between on my NB: stamina dps bow, Tank, and Healer and everything I use works great for those. I can see how someone that wants to shadowcloak constantly in pvp would be irritated by the problems though.

NBs have builds that will work for different playstyles in PvP. Best ganker, very strong mage, strong sustain, 1vs1 varies a lot depending on build and situation - as it does for pretty much every other class except bathrobe and stick DKs.
