i hope its rare, or not as fast as horses.
According to the lore, senche-tigers are intelligent (exactly how intelligent depends on who you ask - Khajiit tend to put more stock in their intelligence than others, which makes sense considering that senche-tigers are considered to be a form of Khajiit), and are used extensively as mounts in Elsweyr. To get a senche-tiger as a mount you should have to convince that senche-tiger that you're worthy of riding it (which is why I suggested there should be a quest). Obviously Khajiit would be the ones most likely to be able to do this, but there's absolutely no lore-based reasoning for preventing other races from riding senche-tigers.You`re right i don`t know the entire TES lore. Only some of it . It could make sense that Khajiit have some kind of connection with felines and that they`re able to tame them more easily than human, orcs and elves . I can accept seeing a few Khajiit riding their feline mounts.
But i certainly cannot agree with seeing orcs or humans riding tigers.
Worst case scenario, maybe wood elves, cuz they`re a lot close to nature than any other races.
I could also see Argonians riding a Guar or some other kind of reptile large enough to act as a mount . But once again i wouldn`t want to see humans or elves riding those mounts.

Please no. It ruins the unique style of this game. There should not be other mounts than horses.timidobserver wrote: »The lore conservatives are probably going to freak out, but I think this is a good thing. COME ON ............ just as i expected, this game will start to resemble WoW little by little untill it just becomes another friggin wow clone.
It was friggin innevitable from the start , i knew it.
At least i cannot say that i didn't try. I was here on the forums almost everyday trying to fight off all of the demands that came from old WoW players who tried to bring some of WoW into ESO.
Yeah i failed but at least i tried .
friggin tiger mounts , come on man , thats gotta be a joke. The second they're in the game i'm out for good , no chance of me ever coming back .
I'll go back to space sims or something . At least i won't see people riding tigers out there .

I definitely hope that this mount can only be obtained by completing a quest to gain the senche-tiger's loyalty. Put the quest in Reaper's March so that it'll be available to Aldmeri Dominion players pre-vet levels, while players of other pacts need to get to vet levels to obtain them. This makes sense from a lore perspective because senche-tigers are native to that zone. Ideally at the same time senche-tigers are brought into the game another unique mount is introduced for each of the other 2 factions (again, through a quest set in one of the faction zones). Guar for EP obviously, although I'm not sure what the one for DC would be.

it is a lore based mount it is true but the lore also says they refuse to let anyone but a khajiit ride them, so yeah...it is lorebreaking
So, how many $ will we have to pay in the shop? -.-

In game books from Morrowind to Skyrim all say that Senche only permit their fellow Khajiit ride them.

In game books from Morrowind to Skyrim all say that Senche only permit their fellow Khajiit ride them.
I've searched the Imperial Library for all these supposed lore books and references that senche-tigers are rideable by Khajiit only and can't find a one.
The most detailed book about them is called Sugarbelly.
Show me one that says this.AlexDougherty wrote: »In game books from Morrowind to Skyrim all say that Senche only permit their fellow Khajiit ride them.
Ah, I see. There isn't one.AlexDougherty wrote: »There is nothing is these books saying that other races can't ride them, but the overall tone is that they only permit Khajiit and even then only in dire circumstances. It's more a matter of interpretation than defination.

Lore or not, I think it would be really weird to see such mounts everywhere in Tamriel, mounted by probably most of the players instead of horses.
This would be terribly immersion breaking for me, and I understand that it looks a bit like a Wow thing in some aspects for some people, as for me too.
Anyway, the 1.4 is out and so, are these mounts released or not?
