Dragonstar Arena - A fun and exciting addition!

So I just spent a large portion of time checking out the DSA on normal mode with some guild members, and I have to say that it is a lot of fun. I really like this addition of what seems to be competitive small group, 4 man like Trials. We spent a good amount of time clearing through it and almost finished but couldn't due to computer and internet issues occuring on the last boss at 18%. I can't wait to finish it up and see the veteran mode version.

I hope to see more things like Dragonstar Arena in the future.

How many stages to complete? I tried it yesterday afternoon with some v12 pugs and we made it to the 3rd round. It was a lot of fun, and I got one blue drop item healer set or something that one of the guys offered 5k for so I sold it. If I can regularly do that then I will keep going back. I haven't tried the trials yet because I am a Templar, but since switching to tank role I might have to give it a shot soon.

It´s 10 stages. We did the normal mode yesterday and finished it on first try (normal mode with 1x VR14 and 3xVR12). It was a lot of fun and took us about 2 hours and 15 minutes. Can´t wait until all 4 of us got VR14 and can try the veteran mode.

Set item drops appear to be random, you can get a purple set item in the first rounds and get a blue random non-set item after being victorious over the last boss.

It´s nice that the arena champions now seem to use many new abilities, even some of the guild skill trees. Really good job imo. Desperately wanting to become VR14 now, got VR13 nearly yesterday by questing and arena. Refusing to join the hircine train but I don´t know how long I can resist so I can try hard mode.

Just enjoy the game. Does it matter if you start Veteran Mode in one or two weeks? We won't see nay new 4 man content in 1.5 and maybe not in 1.6, so enough time to enjoy the journey.

I had more fun completing the Arena on normal than I have had in any other PvE in this game.

It was the computer, we almost killed his last champions and survived what would have been the last fire attack when all of a sudden my internet died.

I'm really looking forward to this once I get high enough level. Not to much further to go!
