I downloaded the update and the sigh in screen showed V1.4.... But my launcher was still showing V1.3.5.......After The update downloaded i had to "repair" in the drop down menu and it took forever at 12.4 mB/S

Response time to my emails were very helpful (NOT) never heard back from customer support

These no longer stack. Read the patch notes.

Which is freaking ridiculous. There was nothing wrong with the Night'sSilence set and the way it worked for vampires. Now it is completely WORTHLESS for vampires as there are MANY better sets since it's main attraction, the speed, no longer exists. I've sunk a ton of gold into my Night's Silence set and I WANT IT BACK.

Bullcrap! Vampires gets endless Magika. This called BALANCE. Get used to it.....

Another bug:

- You cannot invite any character to a group by clicking their name in chat, if it has any special character (umlaut, accent, etc.). You need their @name to do a manual /invite @name.

Actually this is the smoothest update so far for me. Remapping my keys and playing with settings took me 10min of my life so there's nothing to moan about it, all addons work perfectly fine, dunno what is it about that deconstruction doesn't return anything cos been deconstructing in all crafts today and it works fine. Last but not least this update thanks to new particle effects settings have improved my performance so I'm happy bunny must say.
Hearing that it has broken game and need rollback makes me think we are playing different games.... $:\$

Ok, now that i'm in i'll add this one to the list.
Every container I open that claims to contain something turns out to be empty. This is across all 8 of my chars at various levels.
Chests/bags/satchels/urns/cupboards/nightstands ect.
Infact the only thing that still works are Bookcases.

LOL, they changed this just because vamps with night silence armor were able to sneak at the speed of a galloping horse. Now only one sneak speed buff applies and you can't stack armour speed buff with vamp speed buff.

Because this was the most important thing they could have fixed. Honestly the one fix they actually manage to do correctly effects something I actually enjoyed.
**EDIT**
I used the word "correctly" when in fact it wasn't. They actually broke the set and all stealth in the process.

Hmm...another one to add to the list.
Before the patch I had several quests open, now I only have 3.
1 from Main, 1 from Mages Guild and 1 from Fighters guild.
Undaunted quests and side quests have all been removed. *sighs*

(In my case from 106 to 128)

Conclusion:
With armor: 22% more stamina regeneration
Without Armor: 23% more stamina regeneration

Yeah, you were. With a speed potion and steed mundus you were faster than even a galloping light horse @ 75% speed.

Not disputing, by any means. I just never got a noticeable difference with Steed.

Issues I have noticed:

Sprint sometimes shifts briefly between 1st and 3rd person views.
Lightning storm does the same.
Sound effects on lightning storm seem to have diminished. No initial jolt, no crackle while active.
Rune extraction actually appears to have decreased, not increased, even though there are supposed to be three separate chances now.
Sound effects still seem to go into tunnel mode when near death.

One other recommended future addition: Provide a direct in game link to known issues from recent patch.

Not talking about a web link, but a /help summary showing these things. Would save some CS time in game and on forum.

Running forwards with a staff out (depends on type, but both Bosmer and Khajiit styles do it) seems to stop the upper body animating and looking very strange.

@everyone - Zenimax decided to close a forum that I started on this same topic. Apparently they want every thing related to this to be posted here. Being as this may be a more efficient way of learning about issues they created that is fine with me. Yeah, have it all in one place but you know what they took away my right and others rights to freedom of speech and expression when they did this. So because of this and because of the fact that Update 4 has basically made the game unplayable I am done. It is just a video game folks. Not something to fret about or base your whole life around. In less than 5 years from now ESO will probably be dead or if it is still around it will be free to play. As for me I am not going to be a source of Zenimax's bread and butter. The easiest way to solve all the problems with the game is to quit playing it and get rid of it. So with all that being said it is adios time for me.

a new annoyance... sorcerer pets (clannfear/familiar) now have a "follower" icon above their heads and quite frankly, it's annoying/distracting to see it bobbing up and down while running around the battlefield.

Go to the public school you graduated from, and ask for a refund of your taxes, as they did a bad job.

Freedom of speech as outlined in The Bill of Rights in the first amendment:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

ZoS has no such obligation to comply on a private board.

Anybody else have the issue with Siphoning Attacks and Dual Wield? There should be a 10% chance for all attacks to restore 15% of Magicka and Stamina while Siphoning Attacks are on. Judging from my combat logs, that probability is now close to zero for every Dual Wield attack skill.

Also, it seems that Rapid Strikes speed buffs stack if you spam that attack few times in a row.

Can anyone confirm this?

Okay. I was experimenting a bit.
It seems that there is a better chance for Siphoning Attack to restore magicka and stamina if magicka is not full. And that is for Twin Blades attacks only. Rapid Strikes, for instance, did not trigger Mag&Sta restore even once.

Racial buffs and magical buffs should not stack at all. This isn't like adding damage to weapon use from training, we're talking a speed boost to sneak speed applied out of combat when wearing a specific set of armor vs a racial ability to move fast regardless of armor worn. Letting those stack was and is OP.

It's probably both, actually. The settings I backed up are the general settings that apply to all characters: Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\UserSettings.txt

Keybinds aren't stored there, and may be hosted on their servers for all I know.

You just don't get it. You can't arbitrarily cherry pick one passive and declare it to not stack with one ability from 1-2 armor sets. This is terrible design and breaks the mechanics of the game. ALL passives stack with ALL equipment bonuses, across the board- or they do not. How are we as players - and especially those that don't read the forums, read the patch notes- to know what passives work or do not work with armor bonuses if they start randomly changing the mechanics? There is a vampire NB out there right now that doesn't read the forums wondering why his Night's Silence set is broken, according to what the ability says. This needs an in-game explanation/tooltip at the minimum, besides the fact that it makes no sense.

Let me illustrate with a hypothetical example. Would it make sense for them to say:

"Fixed an issue where you could stack the The Altmer racial passive Spellcharge - Increases Magicka Recovery while in combat by _% with the Vestments of the Warlock item sets to gain an unintended high rate of Magicka regen. This is no longer possible—you get the bonus from either Spellcharge or Vestments of the Warlock set."

??? Would this seem right or logical in terms of game mechanics?

Do we want arbitrary breaking of design philosophy instead of doing the proper thing -redesign the abilities to keep them within desired ranges?

IMO, Vampires SHOULD be the fastest stealthers in the game in terms of balance with their limitations and Lore.

Really? That's funny, because there are problems with inviting and /whispering people who have a special character in their @name also. It's been this way since beta. No one can send a whisper to my @UserId, which has an apostrophe in it...so does my character name.

Well, on the bright side, looks like I won't need to use /ignore anymore.
