Help a new enchanter

So I am tired of buying all my enchantments from NPC vendors; so I started doing enchanting.

so, how do I level this skill up??

the fastest way, form what iv found out in my so far limited experience, is to find runes in the wild and translate them, which gives me a crap ton of XP.

however, deconing glyphs yields barley any XP past level 1, and does not seem to be a good way to level up the skill. It only seems good for getting runes back.

so how am I supposed to level this up? do I just buy glyphs from players and break/translate them? im pretty lost right now:/

Actually you do want to deconstruct glyphs because that is the best way to obtain enchanting xp. What you want however are glyphs that other people have made for the best xp boost.

Enchanting is one of the slowest crafts to level atm. With update 4 which is supposedly being released next week they are making enchanting a little easier to level so I would recommend waiting until then to do deconstruction.

Also you do get a good inspiration boost when discovering the power of the different runes.
This also applies to alchemy for the each of the 4 powers the materials have.

As for swapping with others, IF you are thinking of having more than 1 character with hirelings in enchanting, you can craft on 1 alt, put in the bank and deconstruct on another, counts as having someone else craft for you as well.

As much as people say this hard to level i found its not that bad ... three are two paths one can take, Path one which involves trading glyphs with friends and levels A TOON the fastest. Its just Make & trade glyphs with friend for deconstruction...

The other path, which i took is to have 7 other alts enchanting ... this method takes twice as long but will improve ur overall enchant hireling faster. keep a secondary enchanter whom has enchanting leveled just behind ur main .... the other 6 enchanters just level to 3 initial for the minor hireling perk, then 12 later to get the 2nd minor hireling perk........................ make and trade glyphs between the highest 2 enchanters until ur main is enchanting level 40 then concentrate on leveling ur alts.

Either method can be improved if one is in lots of trading guilds and has ability to sell glyphs for greater or equal to what they buy glyphs one do this too. Or if u just make lots of money .... search for good deals on glyphs and buy for deconstruction.

PS - never buy glyphs not made by another player/ alt for decontruction, u get no inspiration... seach the web to see the inspriratin gains of each level of glyph, that way u have an idea what that glyph is worth.

A good way is to gather stacks of runes, mail them to your friend to make glyphs for you & have them mail it back so you can then decon.
Learn any new runes from making your own glyphs too.
That, plus decon any looted glyphs and making glyphs for your own gear/weapons helps a lot.
