Couple of Questions about Molag Bal fight

I am a VR1 Sorcerer that finally beat Manni, and I did it by help from reading the forums, and realizing I had to get my Restro Staff up, I went in this morning, did not die at all getting to him. for some reason I switched to my Destruction Staff when I faced off with Manni, and he killed me. Secound time against him I went back to restro, and after about ten minutes he was dead. three months I have waited for this, when his health was almost gone, and I knew I was going to beat him, I felt like a little kid again. 10 times before I had to leave this fight, cause I felt I could not win, now my questions about my next fight with Molag, do I do the same, duck, dodge, roll, and run, do the other companions go in with me, or am I alone, and if I need to leave and come back later , can I................Thanks for any help.

Alright. You are seriously buffed by Meridia and all the trash is basically one hit. The Deadroths are a bit tougher but just go by em'.

Don't hang around out front or Molag will nuke you. Get past the trash quickly and you avoid his nukes. Get up to the main area and remember to just block the Titans, that will bounce the shot right back at them, a Meridia buff I guess.

He is not very dangerous. Don't get excited and use stuff up, keep moving and watch for his tell before he does his teleport attack, it's easy to avoid if you can run, so save stamina. Keep moving as fast as you can without wasting resources, hit him when you can. It's an endurance contest.

Be equipped. Potions can save you, get good ones, I could maybe help there. Food as well makes a big difference, at VR1 well 50 actually the next stop is VR5, you can add close to 300 to 2 stats. Best armor you can do and buff that staff. ;)

I'm sorry, am I able to teleport, out of the area, and back into let's say Eldon Root, or will my character be stuck in this battle until I either win or give up.......I just want to know if I can't win I can go PVP or something else, and that my character is not lost.

Oh, your char will be fine. You can just log off and your char should appear at the start. If you get killed actually fighting with Molag Bal you will spawn right at his area. If you get killed earlier you spawn at the start.

It never occurred to me to try traveling ... so I dunno if that works.

On my level 45 sorcerer I used overload and beat him in 2 mins. Dodge block crystal frag you manna down then overload it back up critical surge for heals and he's dead real quick.

Fought him on 3 diff chars now and sorc was by far the easiest.

You can either open up the Map and right click twice and then access a wayshrine, or just log off.

I could not beat him with my Destruction Staff, even with Surge. I had to use a Bow. Even my DK with at 50 1H/S had more luck using the Bow which was at L15.

But, run backwards in a circle, spam Light Attacks and take a Healing potion when ever you can, and avoid the Red, you can beat this guy.

It is not a DPS fight, but a fight of attrition.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

You get god mode vs Molag Bal. No need to worry if you have bested mannimarco IMO.

I agree, I did it today for the first time and tbh I was dreading it, but it was easier than Mannimarco IMO. It just took a long time to wear him down.
I did it with resto staff to keep a bit of distance and just did heavy attacks and kept healed, the most important thing is to keep moving because Molag Bal has some aoe attacks and a nasty jump attack, but as long as you just keep running out of the red areas (and there's enough time that you don't really need to roll, just keep running out of the red) it's actually not a difficult fight, just lengthy. When the titans appear, just hold block and keep moving, the powers you are given for the fight will reflect their attacks back at them if you block.

I went in there today, expecting to die at least a few times, and never did, it took a good twenty minutes of running rolling dodging and light attacks, just like everyone said. One thing I don't understand though, the Titans never moved or attacked me, I never even killed them, they were still there when Molly went down. Now was this a glitch.

To be honest, Molag Bal is one of the easiest boss fights in the game. Basically you are given super stats. There are a bunch of monsters before him, but you 1-hit each. Once you get to Molag Bal, he doesn't do big bursts of damage, so it's very hard to die. Mannimarco was pretty much the final boss. If you beat him, then you will be disappointed with Molag.

then things have changed since the launch of the game, because he used to be a tough fight, I did notice what a chump Mannimarco was this time around, compared to the first time.

He's a push over, beat him on my level 49 NB main in 5-10min with no help from the forums, just dodge attacks, whack whack, dodge, whack whack, dodge, block the titans fireballs so they kill themselves, rinse repeat. For the last boss... And a Daedric Prince at that. i was SEVERELY disappointed at his lack of... everything. I expected him to have a few instant kills that you have to block/dodge but nope. Still, great voice acting! :D

I don't want to even think about how many times I died fighting Mannimarco, and was dreading Molag Bal, but as so many have said, it's about getting out of his red, watching for when he's going to do the jump thing, and moving all the time. I did it with my NB too, and didn't die once.
Food helped of course, and keeping a balance with magic and stamina.
What helped me were the heal pots that target all three stats, it was just a fight of attrition and endurance.
I am really glad it was not worse, I was totally shattered with Mannimarco, it made me feel rubbish, and I felt that I should pack it in because I sucked at the game.
I will never forget how relieved I was when it was over.
Put that right next to emerging from the sewers for the first time ever in Oblivion.
