Just came across this man in Greenshade, it was about a Man and his Husband who were about to die. He talked about them being children and running to that spot to plant flowers there. It was such a simple and short quest but it held a lot of meaning and made me feel passionate about doing it.

As I was bringing the flowers back I saw him kneeling over his husband who passed while I was running back, what the Bosmer said was a reward enough, but this was the perfect way to end the quest, my new, favorite quest.

This one chokes me up every time. One of the most moving and powerful quests I think I have played in any game.

Also "Spirited Away" back in Auridon. The mother who sends you to pray at the four corners for her children... Upon turning that one in it's gets me every time as well.

"Break those rocks! Dig those ditches! Why??? Because I want you to!!!" - Ifriz the Unraveller
"There are worse masters than I. Far worse." - Molag Bal
"I humiliated the Daedra in Mehrunes Spite." - You, when turning in a specific Undaunted Daily.
"I'm not finding you very pleasant!" - Adla the Brewer
"Old Ri'hirr likes his birds slow and stupid!" - Old Ri'hirr
"When things get dirty... Oh, I get so flustered." - Meredil the Archivist

I was more moved by this quest than by any other I've seen in this game. It was handled with sensitivity, with excellent dialog, good acting, and beautiful artistic effects. I wrote the devs a long, tearful /feedback in game, thanking them for it, telling them how much it meant to me to have a quest that I could see my own life in so very clearly.

I'm so happy to see it celebrated in these forums, too. I'm glad others have been moved as well. And yes, there are similar quests with other couples facing loss, some of them are same-sex couples, some of them are not.

    Thanks for the reminder.

That quest is the reason I've stuck with this game through its ups and downs. I first did it during a Beta weekend, and finding that last shrine, way up in the north-west corner of Auridon, at sunset, is to this day the most beautiful sight I've seen in this game. There was another player there, too. We just sat and watched the sunset, and then the test ended. A perfect day.

I started in EP and there is a quest there as well where you save a woman's wife, but then playing through AD I came to this one and agree it was wonderfully written.
The Ebony Flask in Ebonheart also has many flavors of umm...relationships LOL. I think its great that in some small way the devs made this world inclusive of all who may come to play. It truly is a "well done!" for ESO.
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

I don't think this is really about same-sex relationships, this quest is beautiful just because of the story; their love for each other and facing death with dignity. It was so touching. Loss quests get me every time. In addition to those mentioned before, there's one in Greenshade about a man who must decide between his duty to the whole village and staying with his pregnant wife. At least he had a choice - these two guys didn't, they could only accept their fate.

When I did this quest I was so submerged in getting the flowers that my character literally stopped in her tracks when I saw that the husband had passed away. It was a good long while before I could move again. Nicely written and acted.

I'm not into relationship quests, really. Even if it's guy on guy, which is the hottest of relationships. (there's something about male camaraderie blooming into love.)

But the nord that had the thing for jakarn, that was an interesting non-quest thread. I felt bad for him. Life isn't happy though, it always ends badly, so I felt it was more suiting than most of the romantically involved quests.

I absolutely love that quest, it's really moving, I was glad to be able to plant some flowers in his memory.

Loved that too, it was something you wouldn't even notice unless you're the sort of player who regularly talks to non-quest NPCs. Poor hopeful Majoll, just as taken in by Jakarn as the trail of women, and another broken heart in his wake. Love the fact that there are several dialogues with him that progress the story of his heartache even though there's no quest involved.

Definitely worth talking to NPCs in this game.

There's a huge troll at it now and the two quests there at the castle are deeply confusing, so it really put a damper on it.

Related to the fact that all of the other games were made at times in which something didn't have to be included just to avoid criticism from minority groups.(To be fair, Skyrim did have both *** and hetero marriage)

But since 2013/14 have been such socially conscious years, this is the result; thankfully the inclusion feels less tacked on than legitimate gameplay elements though. AMIRITE!
Yes. Also daedra and undead are trying to turn me into flesh pudding. I could care less. Then again I am a vampire and mortal issues are primitive and boring.

things change among gamers. I remember that Ryan agreed to add a male hustler to the popular Blood and Mud - OblivionMod in Bravil , but had to remove him because of violent reactions by test players - it seems he was even more difficult to accept then the strange taste of a certain skingrad alchemist :o

I'm really happy that ESO gives some more same sex couples a chance. my favorite up to now is the Werewolf husband, but Ive still to find those bosmers.

IMO quests should have nothing to do with sexuality at all. Some people may not agree or support such things and the game should have nothing to do with it.

for my personal opinion..the only ones that dont make sense are the interspecies relationships.... in RL a man can be with a man or a asian with an afrian, but in ESO we have a lizard with a dark elf...

    Gross.
