crafting bags are needed

When you have 40 or 50 different mats you need to hang on to for enchanting, 30 to 40 different mats for provisioning, and 30 to 40 mats for alchemy, you spend a fortune on bag space and it takes forever to find items in all of the clutter. But then lets add in armor sets, costumes or disguises (like skeleton and goblin, etc), weapons, other crafting professions, fishing, potions, food, and on and on. It is clear that we need a way to organize our items and we simply don't have enough space. If we can have bags to hold mats and items for each profession, we have a solution.

Apparently, they are working on separate inventory for crafting and pets :)

You're really over stating what's needed to be banked.

40 - 50 mats for enchanting? Nope. There aren't that many in game.

30 - 40 for provisioning? Nope. If you're carrying that many mats, then you're doubling up on recipes that provide the same stats.

Taking the three most inventory intensive crafts on one crafter was probably ill-advised.

Cause that wasn't a dev posting it. That was a guy who talked to a dev posting it. They aren't close enough to having it implemented to talk about it yet.

IIRC, separate inventory for pets is sort of an open secret. (pretty sure they've already acknowledged that, along with costumes and possibly trophies?) The fact that the question lumps both of them together I find disheartening in regards to a crafting inventory. Wouldn't surprise me if the answer was just a "yes" in regards to a pet inventory.

Realistically, once you've maxed your inventory capacity, you don't really *need* any more room for crafting, (particularly if you've got different characters doing different crafts), so I actually sort of have to doubt they'll do a crafting inventory. That'd just leave WAY too much space available.

There's still a way to balance this. They can reduce the initial inventory space back to beta (10 less). They could make a crafting chest take up 10 slots--may need a second one in the bank as well. If they decide to go that route.
