Do they stack - Sets of Armor

I don't know if this has been asked before and I was discussing it with another player but if I make 7 pieces of a set armor do the effects bonus stack for the extra 2 pieces above 5 items?
Would it be better to make 5 of one and use 4 -5 dropped pieces of another armor set?
Also if a dropped armor set has a necklace and a ring , can you use two rings to make a 3 item bonus?

no the same sets dont stack, after you get 5 pieces of one set, there aint any reason going above that for the time being

As already answered, once your at 5 pieces, there is no further benefit from the set. So, mixing in other sets in 2 or 3 pieces is the way to go.

Yes, using Jewelery counts towards the number of pieces, so that can give you up to 7 more slots after the 5 piece set for bonus sets. (5 Armors for the first set, 2 more armor pieces, up to 2 weapon or weapon/shield pieces and 3 jewelery pieces)

Trick is to find enough pieces in the sets to make something useful before you level past the dropped sets. And, not all dropped sets have jewelery or all the pieces of jewelery

Yes. The dropped Warlock jewelry set (the one with the 5-item magicka flood bonus) works that way. That's true of any set with rings.

Don't forget your weapons are part of the piece count too. Very useful.
