Sound cutting in and out on new headset.

I know the headset is not to blame, because it plays videos and stuff outside ESO just fine. In fact, if I play the movie within ESO it works great as well. However the in game sound cuts in and out randomly. Even from the launch window the background music flicks on and off as I am logging in.

The headset in question is a Turtle Beach PX22, but as I said it works fine outside of the game so I do not think the headset is the issue. Now the headset comes with a inline amplifier which I am using. IF i unhook it and plug the headset directly though the earphone jack as opposed to a USB port to power the amp, the sounds works fine. However the microphone will not function if I do this so this will not do as I need to be able to use teamspeak to work with my guild.

If anyone has any advice on how to correct this issue I could really use the help.

Well everything is fine now, Turtle Beach contacted me with a quick fix to my problem within 48 hours of reporting it to them, I just didn't find the correct video when I searched by myself on their website.

I have the same issue with the same headset. Could you tell me how exactly you fixed it?

I tried reinstalling the headset but that didn't work.

    A. make sure the headset is 100% pluged into the amp, you gotta push it a little harder then you'd expect.

    B. Be sure to plus the amp into BOTH your headphone port and USB port.

    C. Make sure Teamspeak is set up with the turtle beach as both your default microphone and playback device.

This was all I really needed to clear up my problem. I don't recall the exact link to the video, but if you had sent them a help request through their website I'm willing to bet they already replied to you and fixed the problem.
