of what is to come in ESO.

They are writers... How would they know about F2P and be able to answer questions on it.

Doesn't stop people demanding the answers from devs and reps on the forums.

Pay attention, forum-goers. This is one of many reasons that Reddit is a better platform for these kinds of events.
Glad you enjoyed it! The team definitely had fun as well.theroyalestpythonnub18_ESO wrote: »There were some really smart questions, and some really neat answers. This was a fun read. I hope the writing team does more AMAs in the future.

We'll be hosting a really fun AMA on Reddit with our Writing Team tomorrow, September 10th, from 2:00-4:00pm EDT. Our Writing Team is responsible for the storytelling, dialog, lore books, and more. Come with your best questions, and we look forward to seeing you there!

I disagree.
Its all about moderation and teaching your crowd and Reddit has the exact same trolls or flamers like the official forum does. Besides that,
its a third party website that has zero to offer for people who are not a member there. Its like with Steam, why should we sign up for this if we want to get first hand info for ESO?
A company has an official forum, its their working place for everything that involves community work and this should be used.
While it may sound weird for some people, I don't like signing up to hundreds of forums and websites just to play a game.
We had good stuff going on here during Beta and the first ESO days, I don't see a reason to change this and move to an external website now.
Don't get me wrong, I respect the work they do and that they try to get in contact with us but it should really be done at the official forum and not an external one especially if that one requires a sign up.
ACTUALLY, the AMA was way more civilized than a lot of what goes on in the forums. Orders of magnitude more civilized. There is so much hate here.
So you might want to check yourself.

It’s been about a year since our last AMA. A lot has happened since Twitch started three years ago, and there have been some big changes this week especially. We figured it would be a good time to check in again.

Who writes Pacrooti? I love that guy!
ZOS_MichaelServotte wrote: »I’m just jumping in to comment about that AMA held yesterday on Reddit. As some of you mentioned it earlier, Reddit is open to people that don’t necessarily own an account of ESO forums, that way they can ask their question should they have one. We also made sure to keep you informed of it –invite you to join us and ask your own question and interact with our writing team.
That said, our team is working on some new exciting programs, there will be news pretty soon about those and we are working hard to share as much as possible with all of you.
Its just a weird step to demand that subscribed people must make a account at a third party website to communicate in such an event.
Every sign up in the internet requires an email and RL information. People don't want to give those out to third party websites especially if they run commercials for gold sellers etc.
The website is also very user unfriendly over there, its the typical FB generation style without the chance for real conversations it just doesn't fit the taste of many people who play your game, that's why they are angry.
Super_Sonico wrote: »You have a forums. Please use them.
This, using third party sites is unprofessional and really shows how much they care for their paid costumers, for as long as they continue to use Reddit, i could care less for the future of ESO or any questions/answers provided there.
