Afaik it's a bug that doesn't allow you to stealth before the enemy you killed or on whose death you participated (healing) releases and respawns.

This should have been made a poll. Then we would have easily seen exactly how much Nightblades don't need a buff.

I play a stealthy Nightblade. I made a thread in "Alliance war" about how I racked up 50 consecutive kill-streak In Cyro.
    I'm NOT a pro.
I was just playing carefully. People are complaining about how NBs suck once their thrown in a keep against 100 other people? You're not a spartan facing 100 enemies on your own, chances are you've got a 100 on your side and you have no reason to complain - as long as you play with care.

Nightblade is a class choice, but it's also a gameplay choice. You can't recklessly jump into a fight - that's not how the devs designed it. You have to be sneaky, clever, pick your fights. That's exactly how a nightblade should be: it's a sneaky rogue, not a tank. And fortunately, it's exactly how the nightblade currently is. If you're playing it with the intent of walking into a zerg and succeeding like a DK, than you're playing it a little wrong.

You can be super successful with a Nightblade, just ask the people who have been taken down in less than 5 seconds by one.

(That said, I've recently tried building a Nightblade tank and found it near impossible to come up with something equal to Temp/Sorc/DK tanks. If there was one thing I would asked changed in NBs it would be that Sap Essence could be the NB equivalent of Draw Essence in DKs… That alone would make NB tanking a little more viable.)

I don't want any buffs (yet) - I just want the NB skills working consistently. Its hard to tell.

I am am really getting tired of the "fluke" hits in PvP seemingly preventing other fixes in PvE.

Damn, then you must be very good
But you probably would have killed me sometime, as I said: I'm not a pro.
… but then, you don't even know the campaign or server I play on

No one said nightblade was supposed to be a rogue that can't fight in any other way. All classes were promised to be good in everything.
Moreover, according to class descriptions, nightblade was the only class that was kind of supposed to synergize with physical-damage weapons.. I just wanted to create a usual warrior. Or something similar to WoW warrior-dk-paladin. And maybe sometimes spec into something like a hunter. So I read all 4 classes descriptions, I read their skill lines. And "on paper" a nightblade was a class for me as the one that is the least connected to magic out of all 4.

And now I hit vr12 and I find out that "they designed it to be this way"? Really? How the heck was I supposed to know?

Exactly (although I am nowhere near VR12); for once they decide to be totally lore consistent and this is what they choose to be lore consistent about?

You wanted to play a warrior-dk-paladin and didn't choose a DragonKnight/Templar? Look, everyone makes mistakes but this one…

For real though, I'll just say that if you wanted to make a warrior and thought of picking a Nightblade I'm at a loss as to what your reasoning was. The physical-damage synergy is there: the majority of the Nightblade skills are melee/close range attacks lending itself to melee weapon damage rather than range. The synergy is however more DPS orientated than Tankish.

And further I might have been vague about NBs in my previous point, but my point concerning a NB being a rogue character is that sneaking and rogue gameplay is what it lends itself to the most, purely from a design perspective, and is thus the one you'll probably have the most success with. You can choose to break from the archetype: ESO encourages it. But the majority of DKs aren't bow-users are they? Probably not, and that's probably because the DK design doesn't lend itself to bow DPS as well as to tanking. So why are you expecting NBs to magically be able to tank so well if rogue comes to it the most naturally? Every class has something it lends itself to really well. Templars = Healers. DragonKnight = Tank. That doesn't meant you can't have a Tank Templar or a Healer DK. It might not be as successful as the other one but hey. Pick your poison mate.

The whole class balance debate cannot continue until they fix exploitation of bad mechanics and the ability of some clever software engineers that can change spell, armor, weapon, and skill attributes. Hell, there are even people using skills from other classes.

Just PvP for a while and you will see all the exploitation of bad mechanics and security in their code. Right now all arguments are invalid until ZOS and Bethesda fix their bad code.

All I know is last night I chased "supermad" across the map. My hits barely hurt him, he heals...bolt escapes....undefeatable.
