If only this were trueY
so to max it out you would need to refine 10000 pieces of raw material.

Considering I was at level 50 in all the crafts that refine and had the 10,000 node harvester achievement, I feel a little raw at how ZOS handled this achievement, forcing everyone to start at zero regardless of past crafting history. I've been working my adze off since the patch and only recently hit 1000 refinement mark. I think I'm not alone. So many mats are being refined, I've seen prices for refined mats tumble in guild stores. Even saw one joker selling his ingots for 399g. Guess he didn't know vendors pay 400g without a listing fee

You are too right. Chasing this achievement, along with Master Angler, have me questioning my sanity =D. All I can say is those freaking dyes better look awesome!Ourorboros wrote: »If only this were true. This is one of the Achievements I group with ones like doing 10,000,000 damage in a dungeon. If I ever get it, I will have to take a long hard look at my life and wonder why I wasted so much of it pressing a button over and over again in a game.
Some Achievements are just unreasonable in what they want.
ZOS did not keep track of how many refines you had done before this achievement was added, which is why you have to start at 0. Oh how I long for the day when the magical fairy allows us to go back in time and correct all these wrongdoings.Ourorboros wrote: »If only this were trueY

At this point I'm just giving away refined mats to lowbies, but that's also because I've been harvesting jute, maple and iron ore in low level zones and I can't use them anyway after I get the hemming, pitch, trait stones, etc from refinement.Ourorboros wrote: »So many mats are being refined, I've seen prices for refined mats tumble in guild stores. That's almost the exact response I got from ZOS...do you work for them? Ever heard of venting? You think there was NO POSSIBLE WAY that ZOS programmers could not have given at least partial credit towards this achievement based on crafting progress and node harvester achievement? Why belittle us because we vent over what we think was unfair? It ain't gonna change what ZOS did, but it makes it easier to swallow a bitter pill.s7732425ub17_ESO wrote: »ZOS did not keep track of how many refines you had done before this achievement was added, which is why you have to start at 0. Points taken. I thought of the same things. It just feels raw that we got no credit for months of hard work, and they set the bar extremely high to get this achievement. Compare it to Master of Decontruction. We also had to start at zero for that, even though I know I met the requirements. And they set the level at 1000. That was relatively easy to repeat. But for Refinement, if you figure an average of 2 mats per node, we are looking at 15,000 nodes to harvest....ouch, I have blisters on my fingers. Look, I'm working this achievement, just feel the need to vent about it =D.How would they have known who harvested the mats to refine and who harvested to sell? Also, does the node harvester achievement track the difference between cloth/wood/ore nodes and alchemy/runes? If not, how would they give you credit?
I'm in the same boat you are, but I figure I'll get there eventually, since I can't seem to pass by a harvesting node, whether I need it or not.
I'm working on the "unlock 1000 chests", and going for the Daedric Lord Slayer
Hm all damage achieves are extremely fast to get except the 100 000 000 damage in pvp.Ourorboros wrote: »You are too right.
